We just love the place. Great experience in this villa. We liked everything there, very quiet location near a beautiful beach. We were looking for such a place. The villa is very spacious, nicely furnished and we immediately felt like at home, plus a beautiful garden and an amazing pool. Asanga will prepare a royal breakfast for you every day, whatever you want. During our stay in Sri Lanka, we returned there twice. Last but not least, great communication with the owner of the villa, who really cares about making your stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely plan to spend more time in this villa next time. I can really only recommend it.

Kumu Beach is one of the best hotels we stayed in! The place itself is calm and relaxing, only ten rooms within a private atmosphere. Our rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. The entire hotel provides such a beautiful interior with lots of love for details. Also outside, the pool area and lawn around, is so nicely arranged and the view is simply great. The service staff is brilliant, honestly interested in the wishes of the customers and provides the maximum of service that you can experience. Also the cleaning, SPA or gardening/outdoor staff is over-the-top friendly and hardworking. The food is exceptional. A variety of tasty Sri Lankan and non-Sri Lankan food is offered. Our stay way amazing, a true paradise. We will miss the peace and quiet here and are looking forward to book again soon!

Fabulous beach hotel. The staff were attentive and always happy to cater to our needs. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect view. The food was delicious and flavourful. The grounds are neatly kept. During our stay, there were many other couples enjoying their stay, in a comfortable quiet and relaxing atmosphere. No kids to be seen which made it even more wonderful to unwind. We will be back.

Very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Due to the small size and the location without any other bigger hotels around, this place feels very secluded and quite. When staying a few nights, it is very easy to connect to other guest or enjoy complete privacy. The beach is beautiful and sunsets are amazing. We would come back surely.

Amazing! We had several hotels, apartments in Sri Lanka but this was the best. We felt great there the location is amazing, right on the beutiful beach. There were some waves but you can swim or you can use a nice pool as well. The staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was great they brought a table for us and we had it in front of our room in the garden while listening the sounds of the ocean. There were shops, pharmacy, restaurants nearby. Looking forward to be there next time.

THE LOCATION WAS FANTASTIC, WEST FACING SO LOVELY SUNSETS. YOU COULD WALK FOR SEVERAL MILES IN BOTH DIRECTIONS ON THE BEACH WHICH WAS PERFECT. HOTEL LAYOUT WAS VERY GOOD. WE COULD HAVE BREAKFAST ON OUR OWN TERRACE IF WE WANTED. STAFF WERE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND KEEN TO HELP. FOOD ON THE WHOLE WAS VERY GOOD BUT THE MENU DID NOT CHANGE.

We could not have landed up at a better place, this is a true gem, hidden away with great food and the most amazing beach - we decided to stay there at the last minute because we had originally booked a big hotel, but we were just dying for some peace and quiet after traveling around the country. We could not have been more delighted when we arrived at sunset to a beautiful beachfront and pool direct from our villa. Definitely coming back. Great staff and a real hideaway - a very special place. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sundara - not only the property is beautiful and well cared for but also the staff did an exceptional job in making us feel welcome and at home. Prasad helps with bookings of massages or tours, Hassan and his colleagues don’t leave any gastronomical wishes open. Everyone is friendly and caring. We enjoyed swimming in the nice pool, the spacious rooms, the delicious food & drinks and the direct beach access. We swam in the ocean, but check the tides before as waves can be quite high.
