This is paradise on Earth! A human-sized hotel with 13 rooms and numerous services. The staff is very helpful, always very friendly and willing to assist. The rooms are functional and decorated with attention to detail. Amazing views of coconut trees, the pool, and the Indian Ocean. The beach is very well equipped, not crowded, right at the hotel's doorstep, with sun loungers, canopy beds, and staff to monitor and assist guests. The place is very calm and relaxing. The hotel is like a secluded island in an area that doesn't have much interest in itself. The highlight: the restaurant serves excellent food, worthy of a starred restaurant, catering to all tastes at reasonable prices. The breakfast is also excellent, nothing like the bland international food of big hotel chains. The chef was attentive to our needs and tried to fulfill every wish we had. What's more, for my husband's birthday, we were offered a cake and a bottle of wine. We really felt pampered in Ahu Bay. Thanks again to all staff for this memorable holiday!

10/10 and more... The guest house is very nice, everything is new, clean, the room is specious, comfortable bed and a great shower! The view of the beautiful garden is just so calming, in 5min you can walk to the nearby beach and the local Buddhist temple. BUT the most beautiful thing about Sea Horizon is the family who runs it: they are the most amazing people... so kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming. I had a great stay, I will definitely come back here ❤️ Everyone took very good care of me, the ladies cook fantastic homemade meals, you'll love every breakfast and dinner, I promise! And the uncle is such a lovely man to chat to! A special thanks goes to Sana (owner's brother) who always helped me to explore the area and kept me company. 🙏

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the essentials I needed—comfortable bed, fresh linens, and good air conditioning. What really stood out was the staff. They were polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with directions and local recommendations. The location was also very convenient. - Nice room with AC - Hot water (not so common in Sri Lanka) - Located next to the sea, two beautiful beaches close by (sunbeds provided) - One beach is a turtle nesting side - we were lucky and saw a turtle coming to the shore in the evening - Village is quiet with not many tourists - Property has a restaurant, they prepared us dinner on the beach for no additional price - Nice breakfast - Turtle sanctuary near by (we recommend Galbokka Sea Turtle Conservation where you can pet baby turtles) - Extremely lovely manager with a good sense of humour who did everything to make us feel welcome. Would definitely come back.

This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. Thanks Dinesh and Tatta and whole family for a wonderful stay!

Really nice apartment directly at the sea with good air conditioning and wifi and a balcony with sea view! The breakfast was delicious and huge and there are several amazing, quiet beaches really close by. Sana was the most caring and lovely host! He organized a sunbed for free whenever I was asking for it, guided me around the area and had a lot of great hints and recommendations for my stay.

Wow! what an incredible nice family who runs the place! we felt so welcomed here :) the room was spotless clean and very spacious & bathroom was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and tasty most foods had it. we loved to relax on the outdoor balcony and here the birds singing, overlooking a very calm neighborhood. we also absolutely loved the short walk to the beach, we met many sweet locals on the way, there are restaurants and a long beach - and there is a corner shop which provides everything you’ll need :) the wifi was the fastet and best we had so far! it’s a 10/10 - highly recommend to stay here! thank you so much Ramesh and his family for everything! We will come back again that place to stay longtime.

Perfect last stay before heading back to Colombo. The villas are wonderful, with a whole floor to yourself. I think there’s only four of them so it was lovely and peaceful. My room on the first floor had a beautiful large bedroom with very high ceiling and lots of space and surfaces, plus a whole extra lounge space where you can eat outside. A beautiful clean pool. And then you’re just steps from the gorgeous quiet beach. There’s a lovely garden inside too. Really lovely and friendly hosts. Very happy, thank you.
