- Nice room with AC - Hot water (not so common in Sri Lanka) - Located next to the sea, two beautiful beaches close by (sunbeds provided) - One beach is a turtle nesting side - we were lucky and saw a turtle coming to the shore in the evening - Village is quiet with not many tourists - Property has a restaurant, they prepared us dinner on the beach for no additional price - Nice breakfast - Turtle sanctuary near by (we recommend Galbokka Sea Turtle Conservation where you can pet baby turtles) - Extremely lovely manager with a good sense of humour who did everything to make us feel welcome. Would definitely come back.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The owner was incredibly kind and went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. The room was very clean and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind. And the breakfast was the best I had in Sri Lanka – fresh, flavorful, and served with care, on the so cosy garden. I won’t hesitate to come here again and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay.

This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. Thanks Dinesh and Tatta and whole family for a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic time at Ocean Pearl Cottage! Room was spacious, comfortable bed and new ac. The host was very caring and lovely man! Once he heard that it was our honeymoon, same evening he left a surprise for us in a room, which I will attach with pictures. Not to mention all additional snacks and drinks during the day and evening. This man really knows what is the highest level of customer service. He also took us to the beach to look for turtles laying eggs at night! He will help you with everything you need. It was a great experience! I would also like to add that Jungle beach bar nearby is a great place to spend time during the day, to eat some food and get a drink with a sunset. The beach itself is also lovely and very peaceful. We had best time out of all places during our 3 week trip in Sri Lanka, thank you so much!

We loved the Villa 826 Ahungalla. The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Had a amazing bathroom with hot water and great shower. Great location, few minutes from the beach. It is very long and so beautiful. Owner was very kindly, friendly and helpful with everything. Breakfast also very delicious and had a very tasty sri lankan items and homemade by family. Highly recommended!

Greeted on arrival and let in to room. Welcome drink and cold towel was lovely. Staff at Villa Nilnara are amazinbgh. Super helpful. Breakfast was amazing. All cooked fresh on the premises. Room was very comfortable. plenty of space. There was a weird entrance area shared by the room above and they wanted to use our terrace area for coming in and out which was odd. So we had a word and they got funny about it. we weren't using their balcony upstairs!! Close to the beach. easy to get an uber and get around to Galle, Bentotam Balapitiya. Great partying in Haikkaduwa for new years. Big shout to Ranga who was super helpful throughout our holiday. Really made a huge difference.
