Great place by a gorgeous beach. We stayed in Bling cottage which we absolutely loved. Huge, bright, airy room, equipped kitchen with owen and a big fridge. The kitchen and especially the bathroom might need a bit of renovation but still OK. We also had our private space outside the cottage, with the chairs and sun beds. Two-minute walk to the beach, also pool available. Better using lockers for the food, the cleaning lady left the door open during the cleaning and the monkeys had our mangos for lunch :) It is possible to have some meals at the reception/bar/restaurant, only be prepared it will probably take some time. For very good vegetarian food can recommend F Café, which is only about 10-15 minute walk. Whatever you need, Benjamin, the caretaker, is very kind and helpful.

Review: I recently stayed in Watamu at the beautiful villa called Airamjudi, and it was an exceptional experience. The villa offers all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay: the room was well-furnished, spacious, and equipped with everything I could ask for. The location is perfect for those looking for tranquility but still want the convenience of getting around easily. The area is peaceful and safe, and it’s very easy to move around thanks to the availability of tuk-tuks and motorbikes. Plus, the villa is located right in front of Fortamu Beach, which is easily reachable on foot—a huge bonus! One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic pool, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere of the villa. I had an amazing time and will definitely return. I highly recommend Airamjudi to anyone looking for a perfect combination of relaxation, comfort, and natural beauty!

Casa Maridadi is a tastefully decorated, well-equipped, luxurious and truly wonderful place to stay. It is close to the beautiful Papa Remo beach and restaurant, and the rest of Watamu is easily accessible by tuk-tuk or car, which you can call up easily. There's an excellent swimming pool 1 minute away. Ash the host and Winnie the housekeeper on site are friendly, responsive and helpful. Watamu is an interesting a lovely place to be on holiday - our highlights were the beach, the food, the snake farm, the crab shack in the mangrove forest and the Gede Ruins.

We loved the place from the moment we arrived! It's a beautiful house with 4 bedrooms (we stayed on the main floor) a few steps from the beach. Very comfy rooms with king bed size and exquisite design. Staff is very friendly and helpful :) Besides the accommodation i'd like to do a special mention to the food&beverage services: breakfast was fantastic, delicious and complete. We also had some meals at Beba's and I highly recommend to stay in and enjoy the menu, everything we ordered was delectable! The chef is really really good!

Pole Pole Beach House is literally a minute from the beach with easy access. The staff were delightful and very very helpful (even got me a motor bike to town whose rider was equally pleasant). I'd like to single out Safari, who was a most generous aimiable and helpful host. When I dropped my phone in his car on my way to the airport, he very kindly came back to bring it to me. I had a nice room with a balcony from where you could see the ocean. I had a really really lovely stay.

We stayed in the beach cottage, which is in a wonderful spot right on the beach, with an amazing view of the sea. The house is charming, and Chef Mo made us a fabulous curry with chapatis! We hope to get a chance to go back one day.

breakfasts were great, freshly made each morning. The location and staff were superb and very helpful, the rooms were cleaned and tidied every day and the AC was the best (I moved to an expensive villa after a few days with AC and it was much worse, I missed the cottages AC!). The shower was always warm if needed (I usually had it cold),mosquito nets for the bed and window which was perfect. The location is the best aspect, it's right on the beach

I love the location - perfect spot for beach holiday and not too fair-away from Watamu - yes the road is not perfect but for me it was part of my Kenya experience :-) They are a few very good restaurant on the beach and Safari was always very helpful , he even took as to a local church which was amazing experience ! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and learn a bit about the locals , the location is very safe . Pole Pole
