We had a wonderful stay at Flamboyant hotel. Angie was amazing with helping us book restaurants, day trips and just give general advice. The hotel has a personal and family feel about it and the location is so great. Our room was perfect and was cleaned so well, the bed was so comfy. Thank you Flamboyant, we loved our stay.

Communication was easy - Viata kept in contact with us through WhatsApp, Faith and Rosemary ensured that we were well looked after and answered all our questions with friendly smiles, and Rosemary gave us a tour of the grounds and the beach when we arrived. The beach was a short walk along a walkway lined with bouganvillea, the pool and garden were lovely, breakfast was filling, we had plenty of bottled water, and we were also provided with food for dinner because we were originally arriving late at night. ATM, supermarket and restaurants conveniently across the road. Viata arranged a tour during our stay and a driver back to Mombasa. We couldn't access Mpesa so Viata helped us buy return train tickets to Nairobi. A lovely place to relax and unwind after a busy holiday.

Where to begin... Architecture - someone took time on the detailing, and it most certainly paid off. Everything is beautiful! Garden is so green, a lot of palms on the beach. The staff are very polite. The manager Pamela was so helpful in many things, she helped us to rent a motor bike with locals, and had organize a cake for our anniversary as a surprise.

The Nomad is a really lovely place. The food was very good, the staff at reception very friendly and professional. The whole set up with the swimming pool surrounded by greenery is lovely. Also nice to watch the different monkeys climbing in the trees. The beach is truly stunning, and while before booking I had feared the beach would be too busy, this was not the case. Of course when you go for a walk you are approached by beach sellers, but they accept a no. We had a standalone bungalow, with our own reclining chairs and lots of space around, very pleasant (that probably explains the high price, but for us that privacy and peacefulness was what we had been looking for), beach sellers walk past, but they leave you in peace when you say no. We also appreciated their environmental efforts.
