We had a fantastic time on Megijima - it was a lovely to be right on the beach after a few days in big cities. Satomi was incredibly helpful, and we're honestly thinking of going back next time we're in Japan

Our stay at Lemon Tree was the best part of our Japan trip and we absolutely loved it. Kentaro and Kumi went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful in its rawness with a lot of thoughtful details. We loved our time sitting on the deck, watching the sunset and drinking delicious craft beer. We had two amazing dinners – probably the best food of the whole trip. The herbal tea and the herbal steam sauna were awesome too! Go for a walk to the lighthouse and don’t miss out on the forest detour (follow the daffodils signs) – it’s a bit steep but totally worth it. A day trip to Naoshima is very doable and totally worth it (definitely book an electric bike when you, it’s hilly, and make sure you book Chichu museum in advance).

The host for this property is unbelievable!!! She is so kind and thoughtful. We did not know they would pick us up and drop us off at the ferry dock. So helpful given we were a party of 4 with luggage. The nearby 7-11 is where we got groceries and could prepare our own breakfast and the cafeteria area is so cute. Amenities everywhere and the place was immaculately clean. NO complaints. An amazing view. Absolutely 100% recommend.

Loving this guesthouse so much! I've traveled in Japan for many times and lived in many Minshuku style Guesthouse like this, and this stay is absolutely the best. It is very clean compared to others, and food is great - they provided many different style, and healthy foods! More importantly, the host/hostess were so kind, and they helped me a lot since I got to work a little bit during stay, and they also shared some story and trekking path on the island. Highly recommended!
