MalaysiaWe were very fortunate to have a chance to stay at Hakata Plus homestay. The unit was new and very clean. it was also very close to Hakatajima Bus Station. Lawson mini market was just beside the bus stop. The host Keiichi and wife were very friendly and extremely helpful. So coincident it was Cherry Blossoms at Hirakiyama Park, appreciate Keiichi to drive us there for sunset view. We were so excited to see the beautiful Sakura all over the mountain. Really appreciate his kindness to spend time for us. The homestay's view was excellent in which the window screen focuss the entire view of the beach, island and the Oshima Bridge. It was the perfect stay among many places we stayed in Japan. Highly recommended place to stay for those whose come to Hakata Island

Everything! The apartment is very comfortable, clean, well equipped (has a kitchenette with all types of utensils), and has the best view to the Hakata Beach! The owners are very friendly and offered delicious welcome drink made with local citrus syrup. The apartment is a few minutes walk to the inter-island bus stop and across from the bicycle rental center, making it easily accessible.
One night stay was too short... a minimum two nights would have been much better! Definitely coming back here again.

Very good for the Shimanami Kaido cycle, it is directly on the cycle route. It is opposite the beach, close to a local cafe, restaurant and bus stop. Very comfortable tatami mat room with a lot of kitchen amenities. Hosts were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the little shop in reception with local jams. We are at the local okonomiyaki restaurant which was delicious (good for vegetarians and vegans).

Great location on the Shimanami Kaido opposite a lovely beach. Close to convenience store and bus stop. Friendly hosts!

Exceptionally kind and helpful hosts. The room was a lovely space with a small kitchen, great bathroom and amazing view of the beach. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our hosts were so helpful, booking us a table for dinner, helping pump up our bike tyres, delicious welcome drink, snack and also a present on leaving. So grateful we chose to stay here as a stop on the Shimanami Kaido!

We stayed in the Japanese-style room here, which has a beautiful view of the ocean and a beach right outside. The futons were very comfortable, with big fluffy blankets, and linen pyjamas were provided too. The lovely owners greeted us with a fresh juice, and booked a delicious okonomyaki restaurant around the corner for us. We stayed here for one night while cycling the Shiminami Kaido but would love to come back for longer. The room has a little kitchenette in it with a kettle/fridge/hot plate/microwave, and a private bathroom.

Perfect location, 5 min to bus station, 3 min to rental bike station. Sunset beach in front of the house. Very new, modern and super clean appartment. Owners were incredibly friendly, they drove me to the supermarket and to a restaurant.

The location is superb and it right across the road from a a beautiful beach and a supermarket. The place looked like we were the first to stay in it it was so well presented. It's also well appointed with a great view of the beach and sunset from our window. There are two nearby restaurants one of which the hosts booked us into for a fantastic meal. The hosts couldn't do enough for us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed.

The owners are lovely - exceptionally helpful and thoughtful. The location was very convenient for Shimanami Kaido riders - Sept so hot we swam at the beach. Room well equipped for self-catering etc. Excellent seafood / sushi restaurant 6k away - heaven at sunset.
