The location is simply fantastic, 50 meters far from the beach that was, by the way, even in august, not crowded at all. At the same time it is like being in the countryside, with pure mediterranean vegetation. Note that it is an isolated area, not for mass tourism.. Orosei is about 6 km from the villa, from Osalla you can book a boat ride to Cala Gonone, Cala Luna and other extraordinary places to visit. If you want to visit the real sardinian places you are in the right place. You will need a car, that's for sure, but you will have a real taste of traditions, mentality and local mindset. From the villa you can also plan a visit to Supramonte (reccomendable the lunch with shepherds), to Su Gulugone, to Tiscali and to other fantastic places that are not so easy to visit. So if you do not want plastic tourism, if you want to have a full immersion in local nature and local way of life, for sure you can start planning it from this villa. The owners are very helpful and they have a high cultural level, that is precisely what a tourist needs to start enjoying his stay.

We spent 5 wonderful days by Carlo! The cozy apartment is on the first floor, the beds are comfortable, we slept very well. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Large fridge and freezer. Spacious bathroom. Everything was very clean. And everything is as shown in the photos on Booking. The apartment has a balcony (and a teracce) and a direct view of the beach! We loved having a coffee in the morning with the view of the sea and occasionally the waves. I would say for sea and water lovers it's a perfect location, we were on the beach 4-5 times a day from early to late. You only need to bring your towel...that's a great convenience! The apartment is in the shade because there are lots of pine trees in the area, so you can cool off inside when the sun is at its highest. There is also a shower in the garden. The garden with the pine trees is beautiful, a peaceful paradise! There is a direct path to the beach, through the garden, 30 meters. The beach itself is beautiful, almost white sand and clear blue water, and it was not crowded in June... And there are also several wonderful beaches nearby, you can walk from beach to beach practicaly. Nearby there are several cafes, beach bars and restaurants. The host Carlo lives on the first floor but was very discreet and very helpful for all our questions/tips. I would especially like to mention how helpful Carlo was, when my husband had the problem with the tooth, and Carlo managed to terminate him a dentist appointment for the next day. Thank you so much Carlo! The next time we visit Sardinia, we will gladly come here again!
