Alma, the host, was incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with. She helped us find the location, which made our arrival stress-free, and we were even lucky enough to find parking nearby. The apartment was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and everything felt cozy and well thought out. But what really stayed with me—almost more than anything else—was the focaccia. It was absolutely delicious, and such a warm, local touch to be welcomed with it in the room. There were also little trays of chocolate placed around the apartment, which felt like sweet little surprises wherever you looked. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essentials—tea, coffee, oil, salt, and more—and we loved starting our day with breakfast out on the balcony.

A wonderful apartment overlooking the marina. It was quiet at night even though Genoa is not! It's close to the old city but we chose to eat at a restaurant opposite the apartment block, staying in the marina area for our overnight stay. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the expensive boats being prepared and the massive cruise ships coming and going. We were en route between Florence and France, having lunched in Pisa: this was the perfect place to unwind from the crowds.

Everything was perfect. The flat is spacious and well decorated, there is everything you need and even more. There is a washing machine, which is really useful. The breakfast was left at the place and the owner was super friendly and helpful, replying within minutes to any doubt. Self checking option was great too.
