Nice and attentive host. He was very accommodating and flexible for our needs which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, air-conditioning worked, and the shower was hot. The apartment was a decent size and the location was great. It's in a quiet street less than 5mins walk to the beach and about 10mins to the station.

Very nice property and getaway. We stayed in the AFrame. This was a very special room & stay. Wonderful location just between the arabian sea and the lagoon although it is a little outside from the next village. But therefore it is quiet and very peaceful! Very, very nice staff and perfect service.

Property itsefl is very beautiful, very close to the beach. Rooms are nice and well equipped. There is very nice kitchen equipped in everything is needed (with washing machine) and living room. On the second floor you will find an amazing terrace with big table and hammocks. Breakfast is served everyday on the terrace, which are by the way delicious. Best thing of staying here is the greates host I ve ever met. Saajev is very kind, helpful and funny guy who can help you with anything you need, he can arrange the scooters and show you the neighbourhood. honestly we spent 4 nights here and had the best in India. I do really recommend to stay here, we will come back for sure.

Magnolia Guesthouse is a little piece of beautiful heaven 🌸💫 We absolutely loved this place - the beautiful garden with flowers and butterflies, pool area, our terrace with a seaview, the delicious food and especially the staff. They are so sweet and took such good care of us - they felt like family. Thank you so much for everything - we'll come back for sure!

Kuma is very friendly and helpful guy. Accomodation is new and the bed is very comfortable and large. The top is the shower 🚿 - smooth flow of water and spacious. Kuma managed a scooter for us and is offering surfing classes or u can just borrow a surf. We fully recommend this place. 😀👍

Tiny Temple is a rare gem set back from a quiet section of 'the strip' close to Black Beach. Swati, the host, couldn't be sweeter. He was really helpful and made us feel completely at home. The location and view from the rooftop/deck is unbeatable and the price was totally reasonable (we were there just before 'high' season). New Wifi is being installed which will be the cherry on top! Another perk was the fine folks at Elina's Clifftop Restraunt (next door) who were really accommodating and even offered room/rooftop service. My daughter and I took a risk on a spot without reviews and in this case we're so glad we did. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Nice quiet location in Odayam, less built up than Varkala itself. Some restaurants nearby and a 10 minute scooty ride from Varkala for more options. 2 minute walk to small beach shared with only 2-3 other resorts. Nice breakfast - options of Kerala style (appam, veg curry) or continental (toast, omelette, fruit) with tea or coffee. Balcony with peaceful view out over paddy fields. A/C + fan work. Clean rooms. Lovely owner/ manager who helped us book scooter rental, Ayurvedic massage easily. We booked for 2 nights initially but decided to stay for 4.
