You need some form of transportation to get around. Other than that the owners are super friendly, you can order food. The garden is super nice and the whole backwaters area is really pretty. I recommend checking out the bird sanctuary very early in the morning. He also offer to use the boat for 1000rupees/hr

Everything. Hotel is wonderful. A word of warning. If you are on your way to Varkala as we were, you won’t find any place to stay like this!! It’s super clean, excellent food in fact we decided we wanted lunch at 2 pm and this was no problem they just needed an hour notice to gather ingredients and it’s all made from scratch. Superb!! Lovely pool area. Very tranquil and quiet. If you do want to go along the beach to have lunch it’s quite a walk but nice. There are a few beach shacks but our advice is stay put! Let Maxon the manager and his wonderful staff look after you. It’s super quiet which at first was a shock but we arrived in Varkala and realised how much nicer Murari beach is! Especially the cleanliness!! Watch the sunset from the beach outside. Sit on the chairs and chill. It’s magical.

Frances and Jeeja and their lovely home are what made this stay so enjoyable. The house is spotless and modern. The breakfasts are amazing. I stayed a week just to have some relaxing time. Its quiet this far out of town but there are places to eat along the beach. My personal favourite was Catamaran, recommended by Frances. Great to see village life, watch the fishermen mending their nets, and the women praying each evening at the small shrine, for the safety of the men out at sea. Do the backwater tour by paddle boat, a great day out.

One of my best accommodation in india. Very clean, big room, clean bathroom, a small kitchen with a sitting area and the location was perfect. Mohammed it's an amazing host, very friendly and he help me all the time with information and he also helped me to get a boating tour.
