We stayed in the sea facing cottages right on the beach and with our own sun loungers. Cottages are well appointed and clean, with very comfortable king size beds. There are great restaurants either side of the Retreat, plus many more (spoilt for choice!) Helpful and friendly team.

I had a wonderful stay at Sameer Beachfront Cottages! The place is very authentic and full of character, exactly the kind of atmosphere I love. The cottage itself was great and had all the basic amenities you’d need: comfortable rooms with proper A/C, a private bathroom with hot water, clean bedding and towels . In my experience everything was perfect: hot water worked flawlessly, the staff were warm and welcoming, the WiFi was reliable,and the food and drinks in their restaurant were excellent. with an amazing seaview! All in all, it’s a great experience for anyone who loves the outdoors and appreciates a genuine, laid-back beachfront vibe at budget friendly prices. Highly recommended!

What is not to like! We stayed in a garden view beach shack for a few days until the sea facing accommodation became available. The garden view still had a side sea view and only 20 paces from the beach. It was nice but nothing like the luxury of the newer beach front shacks. It wasn’t much more for the beach front but I’d highly recommended trying for one if you aren’t on a tight budget. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was powerful and because it was newer, it was immaculately clean. With a full sea view, a balcony to watch the world go by and 10 steps until your toes touch the sand. It was bliss! The site manager came around every morning to see if you needed anything and nothing was too much trouble. The Cuba restaurant and bar that was attached to the complex was world class. The manager Parbal and his staff made you feel so welcome and treated you like royalty. A big shout out to Abhi who made our stay extra special. The sun loungers were reserved for customers of the complex. Every night there was a beach bbq where the catch of the day was cooked by a fabulous chef. It was nice to know that the fishing boats you watched bobbing away in the sea during the day brought in the fish you eat for dinner. Not a fish lover? They do authentic tandoori dishes cooked in an open air tandoori oven. The prices are a little higher than other places on the beach but the quality, excellent staff and ambiance make it special and well worth the extra couple of £s. We miss Beachfront Bliss and Cuba Restaurant and Bar already. We only stayed for four days as an excursion to our North Goa stay but wish we’d stayed our entire holiday in Palolem.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bramha Cottages...The property is hardly 5-7mins walk away from Palolem beach, and rooms are spacious with a balcony facing the beach, but the best thing about the property is the guy managing it (Sandy). He has been a great help in arranging transportation for me, patiently listening to any suggestions I offered, and has been very friendly. As a travel blogger, the way customers are treated matters the most to me, and I found this place excelling in that department. Would recommend it without a doubt...!

Perfect place for a gateway with your spouse. It’s serene and beautiful. Entire resort is covered with lush greens and oceanfront view. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a lot. Sunset setup at the cliff was the cherry on top.

The property was directly on the beach. Being able to wake up to the sound of the ocean was a dream come true. The rooms were clean - aircon and fans were such a plus. The team made me feel so welcome, and I kept returning to the restaurant and food as it was the best on the strip! Thank you again - I'll be back soon :)

The property is right on the beach and our rooms were at the front with an ocean view and a welcome breeze! Food was excellent and there was a very extensive choice - probably the best meals we have had in India. The guys were great - cheerful, welcoming and always ready to help.

location is beautiful, right on the beach. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and attentive and made the effort to get to know us. The food was also excellent and good value. We normally like to try lots of different places to eat, but liked it so much here, we ate here every night of our 4 night stay, and all the meals were great. Sunset views were amazing. No air con in the rooms, just a fan, but will a constant see breeze every day, it really wasn’t a problem.
