From a fantastic check-in during our stay to the end the staff looked after us like members of the family. I was loaned the managers personal mask and snorkel. Anything we needed was organised. Breakfast was fantastic. Everyone was always there with a smile.

Beautiful place in the jungle and about 20 mins walk through the jungle to secret beach which is stunning and fantastic to swim in . Some great snorkelling too . Rosie and her team looked after us very well

De Foret is one of the best experience of life, the location and the resort is an amazing place to stay, highly recommended to all the people visiting Havelock. The Meghalaya origin staff was too good especially Eva and Phila. We were not only made very comfortable but also made to feel at home. Super friendly and welcoming stuff and owners. They have a realy good kitchen with healthy food. As a special you get ayurveda massage to a more than fair price. As a bonus there a cute (baby-)cats that love to cuddle. We would definetly recommend if a friendly and welcoming atmosphere is more important for you pure luxus.
