The owner was an awesome person who is always happy to help you with whatever you require. The food was good with traditiinal Kerala cuisine adorning it. The beach was also close by at 300m walking distance.

It is a little tricky to find at the end of a small maze of roads and tracks - and that is why it is absolutely one of the top places to stay if you like getting away from it all. The view from the beautiful communal terrace out into the grove of coconut palms and trees, with the promise of the Arabian Sea just beyond that is wonderful. Excellent owner who trusts his lovely staff to get on well with the tasks. Whether guiding that first time route down to the beautiful Thottada beach; serving food or souring a bottle of chilled soda water and lemons.

Unbeatable Location: The property is situated right in front of the beach and boasts a private beach, ensuring complete privacy. It was serene and peaceful, with no disturbances at all—a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Beachfront Dining: One of the highlights was being able to enjoy our breakfast, lunch, and dinner right on the beachfront. Whether it was early morning or late evening, we could dine with the sound of the waves in the background. Clean and Hygienic Rooms: The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a very comfortable and hygienic stay. We loved our stay at Raaga on the beach, a charming older style 2 bed 2 bathroom cottage 30m from the beach at Kizhunna – a mile of unspoilt palm backed golden sand washed by the Arabian Sea. There is a kitchen here but if you don't fancy cooking or going out yummy indian food can be ordered in for breakfast, lunch and dinner all served by wonderful Hussain, who also cleans up! Best of all is the roof terrace, with shaded eating area. Watch the sun turn red as it sets over the sea through the coconut palms. If you're looking for a quiet, independent stay in a little piece of unspoilt paradise by the sea this is for you. Good host.

We had a very comfortable stay at Urban Rose Homestay. The room was spacious and well maintained. Cleanliness was exceptional. Dining area, fridge, kettle, plates, glasses and drinking water etc. are provided free of cost. The atmosphere is very calm. The property is situated at walkable distance from the payyambalam beach. Film city, restaurants and Supermarkets are available in less than 1km distance. The owner of the property was very friendly and supportive. It was a pleasure to have our stay at this property.
