The accommodation was quite close to town, about a 10-minute walk. Everything was very clean inside and the grounds were well set up for this kind of accommodation. The rooms were warm and my wife was happy that there was a kettle in the room.

Well what can I say about this cosy apartment in the centre of tramore. What an absolute Gem of accommodation. From start to finish. It's a beautiful comfortable amazing place to stay. Home from home with everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean.Beautifully decorated. With Amazing Sea Views and an extremely friendly Host Irene. Doneraile walk couple of minutes away while bars restaurants takeaways a couple of minutes away too. Thank you so much Irene. We had a great stay we loved everything about the apartment. We were so sad that we had to leave. But we will definitely be back!!

Magnificent building and gardens, decore inside was superb. Staff at all levels were so helpful. Islam was so great on the first day, with our luggage, and helping us settle into Cork. His customer service skills with us and other interactions I observed with other guests was exceptional. Tiago was also noteworthy upon checking in and sorting out an issue that occurred with an over charge, upon checkout. He was very courteous and would always enquire about my day and what I had seen in Cork when I went through reception. I appreciate such high level of interested conversations. Loved the wellness area.

An enchanted bubble in the middle of the Irish countryside. The landscapes are breathtaking, ideal for green nature lovers. The cosy lodge is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Best of all the hosts are absolutely lovely and dedicated. We'll be back for sure!

Approaching Arthurstown we realised we were emersing ourselves in real Southern Ireland. The roads narrowed and became twister before we reached Arthurstown to be met with a stunning vista of the Waterford Harbour Estuary and views over Duncannon Fort and further afield to the Hook Lighthouse. This is located at the southern most tip of south east Ireland - a beautiful and windswept spot. Arthurstown is timeless and Marsh Mere Lodge the perfect accommodation. The property is immaculately clean and well mainatined and furnished with many interesting antiques and artifacts. The hosts have run Mere Marsh Lodge for many years and are long time residents of Arthurstown. They are exteremely welcoming making all guests feel immediately at ease and provide an excellent breakfeast.

Nicholas was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hostel was spotless, kitchen well equiped. Able to heat food we had taken. Signage on road entry helpful. Loved the remoteness and peaceful atmosphere. Close to beach and excellent Visitor Centre in old church. Well worth the visit and great morning tea.
