excellent location with amazing views the food was nice, especially the fish sambal. the staff were also lovely and really chill there’s no AC/fan which can be hot during the day but not a problem after sunset.

The staffs at property is AMAZING! Roberto, Roni and another 1 staff…you guys amazing… and the restaurant staffs…i love the ambience of the property, the landscape, the views, the balcony areas, the space of the room, but the most beautiful moments the staff super wonderful n helpful!! From medan to Samosir, it took about 6 hours for us to reach there, but when we arrived, the place super spectacular!!! Well done all

Tiolina is an amazing host who goes out of her way to welcome you into her home and to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. There is a cafe and museum on site and lovely views all around the property. This has easily been my favourite place to stay after travelling through Java and Sumatra. If you’ve always wanted to stay with royalty (Tiolina is the old king’s daughter in law) you can’t go past Ruma Kaca.
