The views from the bungalow are incredible and so peaceful. The beach is crystal clear and full of fish; I could spend hours diving. There is a small town a 5-10 minute walk away where everyone is super friendly, and the food is incredible. Also, the food at Alam Karang is excellent.

My girlfriend and I went to The High Dive back in February and had such a wonderful experience. At the time, it was the end of the rainy season and we were the only guests in the hotel, but it also seemed like we were the only tourists on the island. It was so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The hotel itself and the restaurant/terrace area is beautiful. We had one of the beachfront bungalows and it was really great. Warm, stylish design, big comfortable bed, a ceiling fan and A/C, plus a spacious bathroom. Everything we ate at the High Dive, whether breakfast or the main menu, was delicious! The highlight of the experience here for us was the staff. The team is mostly local from the Gili Gede island. They treated us with such warmth that it felt like we were hanging out with friends and it meant that the overall experience had a very personal feeling. They helped teach us some of the local language but otherwise could speak English well, so we felt very comfortable. We didn’t actually Scuba dive, but did a snorkelling trip for 1 day and loved it. We saw some beautiful, colourful coral reefs, had lots of fun with the crew - stopping on a nearby island for a snack, fresh coconuts, and Lombok coffee was really special! Otherwise, contact with Lisa was always quick, friendly, and easy - she was really helpful and made us feel very welcome!

Very romantic place where to stay- beautiful bangalos with great view to the see. It has the perfect balance of wilderness and comfort, exotic and homely in the same time. Bangalos were rustic, stylish and private. Restaurant had a very nice ambient with great music, wooden furniture, dim lights and sandy floor. Food was very good and portions here are rich. Selection of different food and drink is good and pricing fare. Staff was very frendly and service quick. There is also common "livingroom" on the terrace with comfy seating- good place to have a little chat and a drink with fellow travelers. There is also a swimming pool. I would come back here at any time.

We had a great time here, the staff is very friendly and the host was the best we‘ve ever had! He brings us fruits and water for free and we could try traditional food. The bungalows are located directly at the beach. You can start snorkeling from here as well. There is a good sunset point up the hill. We definitely recommend to stay here!

Everything was perfect. The owner Hera is very nice and took good care of us during the whole stay. Her resort is really like an oasis on the island. She also arranges transportation and trips (fishing, snorkeling). And lovely dog Bruno is like cherry on top :-))

This stay was the best one of my trip in Indonesia. Not only the house is well located and good maintained but the host Irwan was the best company. He took me snorkelling, we saw many sea animals and different islands. Also, we fished and ate it in the night together. The people of the island are very friendly and I felt 100% safe as a solo female traveller. I will come back <3
