Beach Hotels in Oia

The location was excellent. The host, Elizabeth was ever helpful. From the time of picking us up from the airport to the time of dropping us at the ferry port, she guided us in every step, recommending us about how to get around, showed us restaurants, mini markets, bus stop etc. Also shared the best ideas on where to get the best views/experiences. Full marks to Elizabeth.

I love the location away from noise especially the sea just crossed the road. Staff are friendly, they always make sure the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast best what you can ask for. Jacuzzi and pool are great. 100% we are coming back. 👍👍👍

Everything was great! We arrived very early on the day of check in and were able to use the facilities until our room was ready, which was also ready before the official check in time. The hospitality of the staff was amazing, they are all super welcome and taking care of everyone and food was amazing! The location is great, we rented a car and could get to all the spots easily.

Decor, facilities, location and helpful host

The place is simply wonderful. I spent a fantastic week here, completely relaxed and with every possible comfort. Just a 2-minute walk away, there’s a black sand beach that’s almost always deserted. The house is spread over two levels and can accommodate up to five guests. It’s incredibly well-equipped: oven, toaster, kettle, drip coffee maker, induction stove, fridge with a small freezer compartment, and pretty much every tool and utensil you’d expect to find in a regular home. There’s always running water, and the shower and hot water work perfectly. The location is ideal—halfway between Fira and Oia—making it easy to reach all parts of the island, which is small and easy to explore. One of the most amazing things is waking up in the morning and seeing the sea right in front of you, almost close enough to touch. The view is truly priceless. Outside, there are two distinct areas. On the lower level, there’s a small sea-view landing with a stone bench and a drying rack for clothes. From here, you can walk to a gate that leads directly to the road—just cross it and you’re at the beach. On the upper outdoor level, there’s a dining table with a sea view, a cozy stone bench with cushions, and an incredibly comfortable hanging chair—perfect for reading while listening to the sound of the waves. The area is shaded by a light fabric canopy that lets in a few rays of sun. A few steps above, there are two sun loungers overlooking the sea, ideal for enjoying the evening breeze or stargazing. Honestly, I don’t think I could have been any luckier. As for the sound of cars passing below the house, I think it's exaggerated to call it noisy. At night, simply closing the windows is enough to block out any sound, especially since the house is very well air-conditioned. Plus, like anywhere, you quickly get used to the occasional car passing by. I personally wasn’t bothered at all.
