This is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in in a long life of travelling. My room was well designed, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with careful attention to detail. Every member of staff was friendly and professional. I especially appreciated the home made lemonade I received on arrival. I have been visiting Syros for 40 years and if you are looking for a beach holiday, Finikas is the place to stay ! Lots of excellent places to eat and very good public transport connections. The hotel had thought to include a bus timetable in my room and an electric kettle so I could make a much needed cup of tea. What a pleasure to stay in a hotel that really thinks about the comfort of its guests.

From the very first moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for – almost as if we were visiting family rather than staying at a hotel. Sophia, our host, is truly one of the warmest, kindest, and most attentive people we have ever met. Her genuine kindness and outstanding hospitality made our stay unforgettable – she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Breakfast was a real highlight every morning: so much variety, freshly baked goods, plenty of options for everyone, and even lactose-free and gluten-free products specially prepared for my wife. On the day of our excursion, Sophia thoughtfully arranged breakfast boxes for us to take with us, which made us feel so cared for. The hotel restaurant deserves a special mention as well. The food was simply wonderful – traditional Greek cuisine and also seafood, rich flavors, and authentic recipes. We tried food all over the island, but always found ourselves happily returning to the hotel’s restaurant, because it truly stood out for both quality and taste. Our room was spotless every day – quite impressive given how much sand you naturally bring in from the beach. Speaking of the beach, right in front of the hotel we always had comfortable sunbeds waiting for us, which made our days by the sea even more relaxing. What makes this place truly unique is the family-run atmosphere. You can feel the love, warmth, and pride in every detail. Everyone treats you as if you are part of their family, and this genuine connection is something you simply cannot find in larger, commercial hotels. When it was time to leave, it honestly felt like saying goodbye to family members rather than just checking out of a hotel. We left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a desire to return. If you are looking for a place where you will be welcomed with open arms, enjoy authentic Greek hospitality, delicious food, spotless comfort, and a true “home away from home” feeling – this is it.

Quiet and relaxing environment. Perfect location with beach and lovely local restaurants near by. Shops and bakery right next door. Every individual room was very private. Host / staff were more than accommodating

This property was a perfect set up and in a great location for our multi generational family whom had a very memorable stay We rented four of the five properties as a family . This was a great space for our independence and come to gather as a large group. Lots of outdoor Seating to gather and perfect proximity to shops restaurants and local beach . It was like going home. Nothing was too much bother. Beach chairs, home cooking all added to the experience. The rooftop deck overlooking the sunset was magical. They went above and beyond and it was by far the best service we received on the Greek Islands. Even reunited me and our passports in no time upon departure.
