A Boutique Paradise – Contessina Suites & Spa, Zakynthos Our stay at Contessina Suites & Spa was absolutely unforgettable – truly one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever experienced. From the very beginning, we felt the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, thanks especially to the incredibly kind and attentive staff. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private pool and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter. At the end of our stay, we were even gifted a bottle of Contessina’s own olive oil – such a thoughtful gesture that made our departure bittersweet. Breakfast was a daily delight – fresh, varied, and always served with a smile. Every morning felt like a warm embrace. The on-site gym is small but modern, and for those wanting more space or equipment, the large and well-equipped gym at the sister hotel is just perfect. Highly recommended! This hotel combines luxury, soul, and genuine hospitality. We’ll be dreaming of Contessina for a long time to come.

It is a well-appointed and comfortable villa which is cleaned on a daily basis. It is very secure in a gated resort with a reception area. The staff are excellent. A welcome basket, robes and additional pool towels are provided. The location is excellent with a short stroll to the beach and a shop across the road. An excellent restaurant, The Halfway House, is also across the road. The accommodation and service are 5-star and Angeliki and her team ensure that everyone’s stay is thoroughly enjoyed. We can’t wait to return. It is the best place to stay on the island. Well done to the Mamfredas Resort and thank you!

The experience was honestly amazing, from the start. We had a very early flight and they managed to get us all checked-in by 10:30. The staff was very customary and very nice all the time. All the requests we had, they fulfilled them very fast. The food at the restaurant was very, very tasty. All in all, we are already thinking of when we can come back!

Me and my fiancé loved everything, from the room to personnel and all the services that were offered. A special thank you to all the staff for their kindness and friendliness, especially to the cleaning crew who made a fantastic job each day of our staying. If we ever come back to Zakynthos we will choose again Villa Basil for sure.

Tucked away off the main street but a good location. We had a twin room right at the back of the property, it was on the 1st floor so had stairs to get up to it. But it was a lovely size room with a balcony looking towards the front of the property and the pool. Comfy beds and decent size bathroom. Nice to have hanging facilities on the balcony to hang wet clothes, towels etc. Great pool with plenty of space and sun lounges available. We had a car and managed to park in the laneway next to property. Walking distance to many restaurants and beach, although we used the car and drove to all the different viewpoints and beaches on the island. Great staff, always available to help if we needed. Absolutely loved our stay here.

Wow. Absolutely beautiful, tasteful apartment. Everything new, well working. Super clean, and the staff was the sweetest we have ever got to know. Starting with the sweet cleaning lady that even cleaned the dishes when she did our room. And the owner Dimitris. We were welcomed very warm and nicely, and he made us feel like we were friends. The garden is absolutely stunning. We felt so comfortable and if we ever come back to Zakynthos we will definitely come back to Sofia-Yiota Studios. Also the location was super quiet but only a few minutes away from the town and the beach. The last day we had problems to get a bus back to Athens because everything was sold out. Dimitris made the effort to get us the last tickets, even picked them up from the station. He was so helpful all the time with good recommendations. We are so grateful for our wonderful stay there. Thank you so so much!!
