We spent a week of vacation with our family at Hotel Gorgona, and we had three rooms reserved. It was an excellent choice! The hotel is actually even more beautiful than in the photos. It has been renovated and is very tastefully and modernly furnished. Each room has air conditioning, a fridge, a kettle, and cups. And it’s not just the rooms that are beautiful, but also the surroundings of the hotel and the pool. The pool is spacious, and the water is really clean. The area around the pool is very clean and well thought out. There are comfortable loungers, and you can choose between sun or shade — they even bring you drinks or refreshments to the pool. The food at the tavern is excellent and at a reasonable price, and you can enjoy it in a beautiful shady area under the trees. The sea is just a 2-minute walk away. The hotel is in a quiet location; nothing disturbed us, and all around there are plenty of shops, taverns, and car rental services. The entire hotel and its surroundings were exceptionally clean. It is run by a kind and helpful family. We really liked it here and are already looking forward to our next stay. 10 out of 10. Thank you for making our Crete holiday unforgettable.

We loved our stay a lot. We were here for a week and have no complaints. The hotel is an oase of rest. There are some small children but if you go to the second pool, it’s more quiet. All the staff is really friendly, they greet you with an enthusiastic ‘kalimera, kalispera” and a big smile every time. (I’m talking about the concierges, the housekeeping and hosts). When we arrived we were greeted by Nick, one of the most amazing, easygoing hosts we’ve ever met. He has made our stay even better and we actually left feeling we made a good friend. If you get the chance to have a conversation with Nick, don’t hesitate to sit down in the lobby and connect! He told us every place the locals would recommend and it did not disappoint. Nick, if you are reading this; WE LOVE U DAWG ❤️

We vacationed in June with our family and our 6-year-old child. We loved absolutely everything. Yes, there were a lot of steps, but it wasn't a problem. We managed to stay in both parts of the hotel, both in Sofia and the Village. We specifically went for the beach, and the water in the bay was always warm with no waves. The entrance to the sea was sandy and gradual, which is perfect for kids. The food was good—there was always meat, fish, plenty of side dishes, and salads. However, we felt there could have been more dessert options at dinner. On the bright side, we didn't gain any extra pounds! :) The town is nice, with plenty of places to stroll, enjoy views of the mountains, and pet the cats. Evening entertainment was available three times a week, so we never got bored. We sent the grandparents there and plan to return next year!

Hotel was lovely and nicely presented. We had the largest room and it was well worth the extra money with huge balcony and stunning views. There were always options for breakfast and the food in the beach bar was really good. Right on the beach and with 2 pools was a real bonus. Staff very friendly. Everyone very accommodating to our 10 month old daughter.

Great stay at amazing location few mins walk from little cozy beach. amenities were clean and well maintained, amazing view on seaside. staff was very friendly and helpful, we ended up prolonging the stay for few days :) <3
