Doroka is the best hotel in the Nubian village: beautiful, authentic, quiet and welcoming. The room is great: amazing view on the Nile, nice balcony, good AC, comfortable bed and beautiful decoration. And the staff is the best! Everyone is so kind, welcoming, helpful and positive. The food is also really good! Ahmed, the hotel manager, helped me to navigate Aswan activities and options. He organized private tours for me at a very fair price and gave me some good pieces of advice so that I don't get scammed. He is a very reliable, helpful and friendly manager. I loved my stay at Doroka Nubian house and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to relax in a beautiful environment while visiting the main attractions of Aswan.

I stayed at Nile View Guest House for 5 nights in July 2023. The property was clean upon arrival. There is an air conditioner and a fan in the room, so you can use what you like. I felt very comfortable at the hotel. It is a family-run business, so you get the feeling of being around Egyptians who care about you. The food was lovely. I enjoyed the daily trip to the hotel, and the boat was driven by one of the family members. One feels safe around them. They are easy-going people, and they are kind and considerate. They messaged me few days before my arrival to help me arrange my trip and to check if I needed anything, and that was very helpful. They are very respectful of one’s privacy, and they are happy to help. The laundry service is available there for a very good price. I only paid around 130 Egyptian pounds (around 4$) to get many pieces cleaned. I am so grateful to the lovely family for my pleasant stay. A beautiful Nubian house with an amazing view. The roof terrace provides an excellent view of the Celestial horizon and the scintillating water under it. The breakfast was also excellent.

Everything was so beautiful, the rooms the whole compound, the views. Astonishing experience, waiting to come back. The food was one of the best I have ever tasted, the people were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and the design very beautiful. We had a few difficult requests due to our tight schedule. Kafana helped us get the laundry done within 24 hours (we were due to leave at the break of dawn the day after) He also helped us arrange for transport for a very early train (7.30am) and even brought us not just to the trains station, but all the wait to our seat inside the train itself. He helped us carry one of our heaviest luggage during this whole time Stay with Kafana knowing that he will take good care of his guests

We loved our stay here. The room had everything we needed and it had a great view towards Nile. The owner was very friendly and we felt like at home. We enjoyed our conversations with him. The location is perfect as it's very close to the best restaurants in Aswan and there is a public boat that goes often to the city in less than 5 min. We never had to wait for the boat as it's goes quite frequently as well. Even though the island is not in good conditions, we loved our stay there. All the people we met or encountered were very friendly. I am so glad we decided to stay 3 nights instead of 2 as it's my favorite part of the trip. The owner also helped us arranging several tours and we were happy with all those trips we took. I would totally recommend this guest house to everyone.
