The 400 year old castle is a stunning building in a beautiful location. The experienced and friendly staff provided excellent service. There was a wide range of natural and delicious food at breakfast, and dinner in the restaurant was first class. The extraordinary reception rooms in the old building available for guests were atmospheric and full of character.

The location is just perfect, right on the beach. Even though it was fairly cold when we stayed in the apartment (November), in the morning we got out to enjoy the sunrise from the beach. However even from inside the apartment the view is great. The apartment is well equipped, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My kids enjoyed the sandpit with toys right in front of the apartments. I was worried about the noise from the motorway which is nearby (I am fairly sensitive to noises), but I couldn't hear anything from the apartment, it was perfectly quiet. Lara is a caring and attentive host and a very nice person, we really enjoyed meeting her in person and talking to her. Thanks a lot for everything! We really hope to come back some time in summer to make the most of the proximity to the beach!

Our stay at Røsenhøj Bed & Breakfast was fantastic. The hospitality was exceptional, and the owners paid attention to every detail. The food was plentiful, even more - cone hungry ! - and accommodating for those with allergies. The quiet, spacious rooms provided a perfect retreat, and the beautiful garden offered numerous spots to relax. We enjoyed welcome drunks, hyggelige chats with owners and their pets. We highly recommend Røsenhøj and look forward to returning! ❤️

The front desk staff were great, friendly and helpful, made me feel welcome - not just expected! It's an older building - which is charming - connected to a restaurant - also charming and serving delicious food - especially the breakfast! It has a few quirks.... but it added to the overall experience.

My favourite hotel while on Scandinavian tour. Hotel worth trying and staying more nights. Rooms may be smaller, basic but very comfortable and clean. I recently stayed at Hotel Hesselet, and it was a wonderful experience. The setting is absolutely stunning—right between the forest and the sea—with peaceful views and a calming atmosphere throughout. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a beautiful view of the forest. The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was exceptional, with fresh ingredients and elegant presentation (I especially enjoyed the scrumbled eggs and the croissants!). I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Nyborg, either alone or with company!
