Personnel at all levels and for all services was excellent. From welcoming at reception, to dinner service and breakfast in the restaurant, spa and check-out all were excellent. Beautiful and clean rooms, as well a beautiful and very clean SPA and delicious fresh food in the restaurant.

The place is cozy and warm. The owner is exceptionally nice and welcoming. She helped us to decide where to go and we talked a lot with her, she is very friendly. We liked the equipped shared kitchen. And the location is also great!

The whole experience exceeds our expectations: parents and children alike. The communication with the hosts has been seamless. Great hospitality! The parking space is right in front of the house, the whole house is so clean, lovely elevator taking you up to the appartments and down to the pool and sauna. Peaceful house, spotless pool. The apartment is just as advertised, but the pictures don't do it justice: it is really really lovely and well equipped. There are 2 terrasses where you can listen to the birds singing (and flying by). The main bed in the bedroom is huge, and we have never slept in a more comfortable bed, and oh, the pillows! The shower cabin doesn't leak even when you open the glass door after the shower. The shower is strong and invigorating. There are sufficient towels and other necessities. There are even pool baskets with pool towels! We haven't spent much time on our phones, but the wi-fi is very good. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are all the basics things provided: salt, sugar, olive oil, tea, and coffee (fancy coffee machine!). Town centre is close by - walking distance- there you can find all that you may need. Thanks to complementary tickets, we enjoyed the local railways very much! In our experience, no hotel can measure up to this hospitality and comfort.

Room was spacious. View from terrace of the lake was superb! Restaurant meals were tasty and affordable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal with the Schluch See village nearby as well as many other scenic villages of the Hoch Schwartzwald. The nearby RotHaus Brewery was fascinating!
