Lovely place at the very edge of the lake. Two restaurants, both good, tasty food for breakfast as well. Saunas / spa area a bit overcrowded, especially during winter weekends. Friendly service. Not much to do locally (except boats, if in summer), but with a car lots of locations are reachable.

We stayed for one night at this charming family pension in Rottau while traveling back home from Croatia, and it was a lovely experience. The place was clean and comfortable, providing exactly what we needed for a restful stopover. Although the pension’s restaurant was closed on the day we arrived, the host was incredibly helpful and directed us to a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be a great choice. The next morning, we enjoyed a good breakfast in the pension’s restaurant, which set us up nicely for the rest of our journey.
