We stayed here for two nights during our Costa Rica holiday and could happily have stayed longer. The place surpassed our expectations as we had not appreciated from the information that it is a single lodge set within amazing jungled grounds with access to a beautiful swimming pool. We thought it was probably within a complex of lodges so were very pleasantly surprised. The lodge was very comfortable with great kitchen facilities and an amazing open air bathroom which we loved. The balcony overlooking the forest was beautiful and you can see and hear lots of birds and animals. It was a very calm place with easy access beautiful beaches. We did a snorkelling trip to Cano island while there, which was amazing and we had the added bonus of seeing humpback whales on the boat trip there. We also visited Manuel Antonio national park which is nearby and saw many interesting birds and animals. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had such a lovely stay at Camila’s beach house. Alex and her family are so welcoming and it was a pleasure staying in their house. The location is perfect - close to the beach, transport, and restaurants. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped to cook in and the room was super comfy. Beautiful family and beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Good and large bed, silent and good A/C, everything very clean, nice breakfast, nice pool, close to nice restaurant and Matapalo beach, saw a lot of red macaws and other birds around the accomodation and even a sloth in the tree next to the accomodation (learned from the owner his name is Fred). Super friendly and flexible owners. Very nice stay.

David is a heartfelt host. Runs a brilliant house, nicest in Matapalo, the village being a calm place. His real tropical garden hosts a brilliant fauna. Room, bed, cleanliness spotless. Beach and shop both 5 mins on foot, Coco is approx the last house behind the oceanfront trees. Great breakfast. Safe parking. Good advices as per excursions.

Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options. The owners were so nice and accommodating, they spoke Spanish to us but slowly so we could try and understand, which was great because we were trying to practice our Spanish. The accommodation was super close to the beach which there were not many people so it was great. There was also a sloth named George in the tree out the front which was an awesome suprise! Overall a great stay!

This accommodation is featured in an extremely nice (to us) location, newly built and well-kept. Its location just by a stream makes for much wildlife nearby, such as spider monkeys, macaws, ”morfos”, jesus lizards, and sloths. We saw like three of them within minutes of our arrival. Also, two friendly local dogs roamed the premises, but the owners were attentive and made sure the dogs weren't ever a bother. The rooms, or cottages, were fresh with effective air conditioning, hot-water showers and a nice patio. Carlos, the owner, and his family and staff were very nice, very easy-going and sociable. Our kids are saying we need to return here if we ever come back to Manuel Antonio. It's a quiet place since it's not directly on the main road through the Manuel Antonio/Quepos area. During the morning hours you can at times hear howling monkeys. Following the water downstream about 45 minutes leads to a waterfall, it's a nice fairly easy hike, mostly clean, but there were places that had some junk that had been flushed downstream lying about and we regret not bringing a bag so we could help clean up the otherwise really nice area.
