We had a relaxing, soothing time at Beso del Viento! The room was comfortable and clean, fantastic breakfast, stunning sunsets on the beach, and a pool to enjoy. The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating, this is a gem!

Stunning resort! Great pool, beautiful rooms and lush gardens, wonderful food. After we just arrived we went for a walk on the beach and found a nest of turtles hatching (daytime and off season). The most amazing experience, better than any tour we did in CR!

Our late night arrival was no problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation is comfortable and only a 2 minute walk from the absolutely empty beautiful beach. The old ficus tree in the garden is amazing.

From the time of reservation communication was exemplary and we were provided with a lot of information about the area and things to visit. We found Mary to be a great host, welcoming, informative and always making sure we had what we needed, while respecting our privacy. We had everything we needed in our room and the adjacent outside area for cooking and relaxing. There is a little dipping pool, perfect for cooling off throughout the day. The beach on the other side of the road is lovely, a perfect place to have a coffee in the morning.

It was a great resort to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. We were super happy about that after couple of busy days in Manuel Antonio and Quepos. The resort is just next to peaceful beach, where no one tries to sell you something or give a massage, etc, etc.

Miguel and his family are super welcoming and amazing. The location is right on the beach on non tourist area which is great if you want to be away from the crowd. There is park and baby turtle release close by. This is not a 5 star resort by any mean but if you are looking for an authentic Costa rican experience with a small hand made cabana by the beach this is for you. Miguel is also an amazing surf instructor. My son and I both got up on the board first try and next thing we knew we were riding waves! Thanks you!

Wonderful colourful. Wonderful beautiful. See for yourselves: at Google Maps are our over two dozen new 360-degree photos. Some might call it "brightly colorful," others perhaps "Central American vibrant," we say "wonderfully retro." Even though it's reminiscent of an 80s disco, you can tell it's only about 20 years old. It's also incredibly well-maintained, with perfect paintwork. Everything else is great too. Very spacious rooms (unfortunately, we accidentally booked two queen beds instead of one king). Our bungalow was right on the beach, with a lovely garden in front of the terrace. The sound of the ocean was constant. The bathroom with its shower (and double vanity) is the highlight. There's a separate drinking water tap. Coffee and tea are provided. The service was very friendly, both on days when we were practically the only guests and on other days. Breakfast is served à la carte, with a selection of about 10 options. Delicious and plentiful. (But be aware, additional items are available for an extra charge). The à la carte dinner is also very well done (and not more expensive than usual for the region). Yes, it's not a tourist center, a rather sleepy little town, but that's exactly what we were looking for: peace and quiet on the miles-long beach. Plus, it's only an hour's drive to Manuel Antonio.
