The hotel territory is large and amazing, you can meet animals (we saw a capybara, an iguana, monkeys in a tree). The breakfasts are very tasty. The staff is very nice, especially Brandon - he was very professional and attentive and gave us valuable advice. The cosmetics in the bathroom are very good. The hotel does not have many rooms, so the pools are never crowded.

Great place to chill after the hustle and bustle of other parts of CR. Nothing was a problem for Yoni or Ana, including using a washing machine and a very early breakfast on departure day. We had a cabana which was awesome with monkeys right out our window. Would have stayed longer if we didn’t have flights booked.

The manager Mercedes was very helpful and genuinely seemed to care about her guests (she stood out in the rain waiting for us to arrive on the first night). Her activity recommendations were great and she helped us navigate the tides and told us how to go see a baby turtles release. She helped organize a surf lesson, which we enjoyed. The welcome booklet was helpful. The casita was comfy and cute and the pool was inviting. The water was hot, plentiful, and safe to drink. The restaurant next door was delicious! It was a 5 min drive to town and close to the main road, so it was easy to get to. We didn't notice too much road noise. They allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after we checked out. If we come back to Montezuma, we'll stay here again.

I love Ticozuma. This room was for a friend visiting from the states who wanted air conditioning, which worked very well. The room was cozy and comfortable. Had great wifi, which he used to make calls home. Great forest views from the balcony or the seating area near the stairs, also with wifi. Howler monkeys in the trees right off the balcony. He didn’t use the pool, but it looked great for a dip and a place to catch some sun. The hotel is family run with friendly helpful staff.

Convenient location to shops and restaurants. Hotel was right on the beach. Requesting 2nd floor, ocean view gives an awesome view of the water. Price was very reasonable!

The place is super cozy, right at the beach, you can hear the ocean from your room and see the sunset walking 100 ft. There are monkeys, birds and nature. Close to the park, right next to Cabuya beach access for boats, couple of nice restaurants close by

It’s right next to a nearly private beach and big tide pools for swimming. There are a lot of hammocks hung around the property both on the veranda and among the palm trees which are lovely to relax in. Surfing lessons are offered by an instructor partnered with the hostel. The layout makes it easy to talk to people. The kitchen has everything necessary and the place is cleaned every day. I loved my time there

We loved the view of the ocean from the balcony of the hostel. We could watch the sunrise and the sunset anywhere on the property. The staff was very kind and accommodating. It took us 15 minutes by foot to get to the center of Montezuma. There is also a little beach right next to the hostel. We had an amazing time and we'll definitely come back:)

Super chill - the staff are lovely - family run business - you pay for what you get - I felt very relaxed always here - the sound of the waves is lovely - this is not a luxury hotel you pay for what you get but the location couldn’t be any more perfect - it’s near the turtle hatchery - you’re right on the beach - the restaurant next to the hotel does the best food in the area. I loved this place it has so much charm and character

I love this hotel! Right on the beach with an amazing view! A very good price, right near all the fun of Montezuma and a gated entrance with a security guard and I love that so much since we were women traveling so we felt very safe here!

The owner has 4 amazing dogs that seem spicy when you walk in, but they are all very sweet once they know youre staying there. Cant wake up in the morning without Milly coming over for some scratches. Dont expect top notch luxury, but the place is amazing for what you have to pay. You get a whole 2 story bungalow to yourself, including kitchen and bathroom. The place is beachfront, in the jungle. You can hear the ocean falling asleep. I have seen more wildlife here than anywhere else. Bring cash! No atm's near! Thanks for the stay Jim!
