Amazing stay!! The highlight of our Colombian trip! If you like animals and a paradise-on-earth feeling this island is for you. Very laid-back place, nice staff, food and drinks weren't too overpriced. Reading other reviews, I was worried about the noise and the fact everyone sleeps under the same roof but it was not that bad. It is tricky to get there from Cartagena (we got a bus +mototaxi+boat (cheap way) one way and a speed boat (expensive way) back). Looking back would use a cheap way back too because speed boat was a "try not to vomit" experience :D keep that in mind if you are sensitive to constant waves. Still worth it!

The island is simply Stunning, the beach is breath taking... un lugar maravilloso. Very cleaned the staff very friendly and helpful.

Super clean rooms and bathrooms, felt very luxurious for a hostel. Amazing location on the beach and view. Super helpful and friendly staff. Free paddle board activity. Arranged transport for me and constantly checked everything was okay with me. Would 100% recommend and I will be going back definitely.

Exceptional stay that exceeded my expectations. The staff is very friendly, the food is of good quality, and the location is particularly interesting as located on one of the most dense island in the world. There are quite a few activities (snorkeling, plancton, island tours) proposed at a fair price. Expect to be awaken by the roosters in the morning if you do not use the noise pads provided by the hostel. And the locals love to party ;)

Valentina was incredibly helpful with everything we needed. She was a really friendly host and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting her ❤️ The facilities were clean and as expected. Breakfast was always thoughtfully prepared and healthy. Care was taken by Valentina to ensure I was catered for with my allergy to eggs.

A little slice of paradise! Acuarimantima is a house literally built on the sea so you are surrounded by the Caribbean waters. It is a very beautiful and relaxing spot to completely unwind. We loved sitting on the sundeck, in the hammocks, on our terrace... I've never felt so lazy and relaxed!!! The water is gorgeous for swimming and it was great to be able to venture out in one of the kayaks and visit the local beach on Tintipan. The staff are incredible - so friendly and helpful. They were happy to organise trips to the other islands, beaches or to see the plankton (we were feeling too lazy!).The food was absolutely excellent. The breakfasts were delicious and varied and the menu for lunch and dinner is simple but excellent, with fresh fish delivered to the island according to your order! The fish in coconut was amazing, as was the ceviche. Soooo good! And reasonably priced too. The facilities are quite basic (not much fresh water for showering for example) but who cares when you are in SUCH a special place and where you can slip into the sea to cool off and wash away your troubles. We absolutely loved it and would 100% recommend.
