The beach location was amazing with surfing, river kayaking and easy access to Tayrona (by boat, bus or taxi). This was the nicest and safest feeling place we stayed during our trip to Colombia.

SpainOur experience here was truly fantastic. The place is ideal for relaxation, with only a few rooms, making the atmosphere intimate and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the services, restaurant, provided by the hotel are excellent and reasonably priced. A special mention to the wonderful reception staff—they were all charming and extremely helpful. You’ll genuinely want to stay here forever. I sincerely hope to return soon.

United KingdomAmazing stay at Zakua! Juan, André and their family were great hosts. Collected us and dropped us off in Santa Marta and Tayrona park. Near to the enchanted lagoon, Juan took us on a tour to the lagoon which I would 100% recommend. Had so much fun and the tent was comfy and had a TV and air con. The pool is great to cool off in too! Thanks again for our lovely stay

Loved everything about this place. Huge comfy bed, loads of space, everything was beautiful and the food was amazing. Private beach entrance and sunsets were incredible too

The location is amazing, right in front of the beach with the balcony opening out onto the ocean. Great place to unwind, surf and recharge. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was injured by a rogue surfer on my lesson and they could not be more caring and helpful to ensure I was okay. Highly recommend if you’re considering passing through Mendihuaca.

Wow what a gorgeous place! Location is great right on the beach, the huts are big enough and have a lovely terrace and three owner is lovely. You can use the restaurant and pool in the hotel next door which was a massive bonus. Would definitely return.

Beautiful clean huts right on the beach.
Superb views and right next door to Los Hermanos hostel which serves food/drinks all day and has a pool and loads of activities.
Nice and quiet, you can hear the music from next door but the room fan drowns it out to still sleep well etc :)

We loved the location of the property, right on the beach. For the price, this place was not bad - we enjoyed having a private room after many nights spent in dorms. The man at reception was very helpful, and the hotel sells cheap bottles of water and other snacks which is great as there isn’t a shop nearby.

Just stayed here for one night. Accommodation was small but nice. There are very limited facilities on site (we knew this in advance so it was okay but important to know) . Lodges are right on the beach and wifi was good. Bit of a smell from water in the bathroom. Good pizza next door in Los Hermanos

Amazing host and staff, perfect location right on the beach - where they also provide chairs and hammocks. The cabañas are really great with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. GREAT breakfast! Wish we could have spent more time there...

The accommodations were stunning. Located right on the beach, we fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean and wildlife. When we first arrived we enjoyed a sangria while sitting on the beach beside a beautiful fire. We didn't know until we got there that we had an entire "front yard" attached to our glamping site, with our own private sitting area with hammocks, and direct beach access. The outdoor shower was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were absolutely lovely... I very highly recommend this place.
