It has been one of the most memorable, exciting and worthy experience in Chile - great location and comfort of house location, warm and welcoming atmosphere (greeting at the airport with flower necklaces, departing as friends with little surprise...). But nothing compares with consideration, space, personalized approach of Kevin and Lynn to the guests needs as far as tours are concerned. Kevin, we will keep your stories in our hearts and minds. Fantastic stay! We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

Everything!! Location was fantastic and so convenient we could have walked to and from airport if we didn’t have luggage also short walk to cafes, groceries, waterfront & car rentals. The attention to detail, warm and friendly staff. Maria picked us up from the airport and showed us around the area and always made us feel at home. Sebastian was awesome and easy to chat with and basically all the staff were great! Our room overlooked the town and we loved it.

Best Hostel ever!! Benjamin and his family run this lovely place (no volunteers) and they are the nicest people I ever met.. They are always around and help with everything. They can organise every kind of tour, cars, bikes much cheaper than every other place. They even took us out on private tours for free and invited us for a super fish meal. The hostel is in a quiet side road, just a short walk to the center, the harbours and the beaches. The place is very beautiful. A huge garden to relax with flowering bushes everywhere. A grill pavillion, a cafeteria and 2 big kitchens. You can even camp there. The rooms are spacey, (no bunkbeds) with big lockers to fit in a Trekking rucksack and have a terrace with chairs tables and space to hang up laundry. They get cleaned daily and every week we got new bed linens ( I stayed 20 days) The kitchen is very spacey with every equipment you need to cook real meals. Lots of fridges, where everybody has its own seperate space. And you get a box with your own dishes (cup, plate, cutlery ...) big enough to fit in some groceries. You take it with you to your room. I can't imagine a better place. Thank you so much to Benjamin, Jenny and Wilan to make my stay so very special. If I ever come back to Rapa Nui it will be a pleasure to stay with you again.

Felt like we landed in paradise. Staff was great. We did the half board program with an included tour for each night’s stay. Tours were informative and interesting. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
