Everything was very clean and we were very well welcomed by the hosts. We booked a table in the restaurant and the food was very good. The wine selection is amazing good. The location was great and we had a fantastic view from our room and we were able to charge our eletric car directly at the hotel. Thanks for the hospitality.

We have been staying at this hotel numerous times before. The hotel this time was quite full, so the manager, who recognised us again, upgraded us to a Junior Suite, with exceptional view over the lake. The dinner and service in the restaurant were excellent. We enjoyed so much, that we decided to stay one more night and are looking forward to our visit again beginning of 2026.

The family-run Tresa Bay Hotel right on the banks of Lake Lugano is just 30 minutes by shuttle train away from the centre of Lugano.

We stayed at Teresa Bay Hotel on a long drive to the Italian coast from the UK. We arrived tired and weary and left refreshed. The view from our superior room over the lake was stunning. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge and hot water was plentiful. We used the hotel parking for a small fee. The restaurant also overlooked the lake, so we had a couple of wonderful meals served by really friendly staff. The hotel is a really good base for exploring the area. I highly recommend it.
