Really cool, nice place. From the beginning the staff were really good at communications, arranging our ferry passage up the lake and making sure we made it to the ferry port ok. Shala River is definitely worth a visit, I’ve not been anywhere like it. The property itself is really nice, very comfortable and clean rooms and we had a balcony facing the river. We felt our property had the best stretch of river outside it. The restaurant served really good food and nice breakfast too and the drinks prices were a good price compared to other bars on the river. We’d definitely recommend Guesthouse Zgiboza if visiting Shala River.

Hosts were great, and very accomodating. There in middle of april and there were no crowds in Shala River, host was very helpful with helping to plan our trip around Albania. Food was also great.

A lovely place with super friendly, kind, and attentive staff. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxing – exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and the rooms were cozy and charming, designed like little cabins. Perfect spot to unwind by the beautiful Shala River – highly recommended!
