Really cool, nice place. From the beginning the staff were really good at communications, arranging our ferry passage up the lake and making sure we made it to the ferry port ok. Shala River is definitely worth a visit, I’ve not been anywhere like it. The property itself is really nice, very comfortable and clean rooms and we had a balcony facing the river. We felt our property had the best stretch of river outside it. The restaurant served really good food and nice breakfast too and the drinks prices were a good price compared to other bars on the river. We’d definitely recommend Guesthouse Zgiboza if visiting Shala River.

Comfy bed and lovely bathroom! Use of sunbeds for free, dogs on site are beautiful and friendly! Amazing breakfast and host is very kind and helpful, they carried our suitcases for us (Don’t take luggage you need to wheel as it’s a small walk along pebbles to lodge). Definitely worth spending a night or two here.

Xhorxho and his wife Nicola were the most welcoming & pleasant hosts we have met during our trip in Albania & Kosovo. They were taking really good care of us (12 people) and showed great flexibility with the arrival and drop-off by boat from Fierze. The 1h boat trip is spectacularly beautiful and the place is a total gem, especially in October, when it is not too crowded. We really enjoyed the villas, the food and the hospitality. You can see the effort and heart they put in to create this little paradise.Totally recommended!

Amazing location right by the river. The staff were the kindest and most caring we've ever met - truly made us feel at home. Super clean room and common areas. The breakfast was fresh, generous, and delicious. We'll definitely come back!
