Boasting sea views, Carolina Point Resort offers accommodation with patio, around 700 metres from Store Bay Beach. When booking my trip, I almost missed out on this gem because it wasn't listed on Expedia's website. I am so thankful I found out about Carolina Point Resort. It was the perfect getaway place to call home for a few days on our visit to Tobago. I stayed in apartment 6 and it was more spacious than I was expecting. It had a very functional kitchen space with an oven/stove, fridge and lots of kitchen wares to use. The bed was so comfy, and the linens were all so clean. I value cleanliness and this room did not disappoint. Showers, sinks and towels were all well maintained. I especially loved the balcony that led to the terrace area. You definitely had privacy and felt safe staying here. The best part about this apartment styled hotel is the easy walking access to the beaches and stores. It would take about 10-15 minutes to walk to the airport, 5 minutes to Swallow's Beach, maybe 7 minutes to Store Boy and 5 minutes to the main strip. It's close enough to the action of the town but still tucked away that you are not disturbed at night by party/road noise. The owner is so pleasant and reinforced how safe you will be staying there. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting Tobago.

The pool was lovely, the beds were very comfortable with a nice soft blanket. Had extra towels.. cleanliness on Parr and my family and I felt safe and secured.

Surprised at the amount of utensils in the kitchen. Backyard was screened in with lots of trees and greenery so it was privated and allowed us to bathe without our hijabs. Claudia the caretaker was very friendly and warm and responded promptly to texts.

Wayne was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and lush, vibrant nature all around. One of the highlights was watching the countless hummingbirds fluttering around the property throughout the day—truly a magical experience. Unfortunately, I fell ill during our trip, but Wayne was a true blessing. His kindness, attentiveness, and quick communication made all the difference, and we felt genuinely cared for the entire time we were on the island. The apartment was cozy and well-equipped, with a convenient kitchenette for preparing meals when we wanted. However, the on-site breakfast was a wonderful option, and in the evenings, Wayne offered a variety of delicious drinks and local dishes for purchase, which added a special touch to our stay. As a native of the island, Wayne has a wealth of local connections and can organize tours if needed. His expertise made exploring the island so much easier and more enjoyable and he recommended a lovely little waterfall hike for us to do. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—it’s an incredible place with an even more incredible host. We couldn’t recommend it more!

The location is truly beautiful — right in front of Little Bay, perfect for snorkeling or simply relaxing by the sea. I loved waking up to the sound of the waves and feeling surrounded by nature — pelicans and frigatebirds gliding over the water, motmots visiting the trees, and cocoricos strolling nearby. It feels like being part of Castara’s natural rhythm.
