Excellent place to stay in Porto Moniz. Location is super convenient, close to the natural pools and with enough parking spaces (either underground at the hotel, or the parking next door). Super helpful and friendly staff, willing to give recommendations for your days in Madeira. Breakfast, even though in a different building close by, was also delicious with multiple savory and sweet options. The room was spacious, with enough equipment to make your own food in the studio if you want. The bed and the pillows we also comfortable and the small terrace of the room gives enough space to relax after your excursions.

Great place to stay in Madeira. Super clean and beautiful location. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The owner was very friendly and helpful. 10/10.

Set in the centre of Funchal, 1.8 km from Almirante Reis Beach, Casal da Penha Apartments offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. The property is a beautiful, clean building located in a small side street behind the Savoy Palace. The street has numerous nice restaurants and is extremely well located. The old city is an easy walk and the Lido area is also easy to reach by foot.

Situated within 200 metres of Sao Roque Beach and 19 km of Santana's Traditional Houses, Fort Bay Suite Apartments features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Machico. Beautifully renovated apartment right in the center of Machico. While Machiko is not a touristy destination it's a perfect place to stay if you want to access several hikes in the area and we loved getting the local flavor of the town which is much less touristy than Funchal. The apartment was perfect in the best location one block from the water with lots of restaurants within a block, including a delicious coffee shop across the street. Completely new and clean. Everything was thought of down to the last detail, including a care package of local goodies. The host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. I initially was concerned about comments regarding construction, but while there was some construction the noise did not bother us at all.

Featuring a balcony with pool views, pool with a view and a garden, Tropical Garden can be found in Arco da Calheta, close to Caminho Faja do Mar Beach and 22 km from Girao Cape. Great and responsive hosts, well run property, feels new and clean, beautiful view to the ocean. Good location: 9 minutes drive to Calheta beach, 25 minutes to some top levada hikes. Also reasonable location to explore most of the island.

Set in Funchal, near Marina do Funchal, Sao Tiago Fort and Cathedral of Funchal, Alexia Room has a terrace. Featuring mountain and city views, this bed and breakfast also comes with free WiFi. Very clean and quiet. Alexia is lovely and very helpful, she gave me great tips for visiting Madeira.

Situated in Funchal and only 500 metres from Almirante Reis Beach, Apartments Madeira Barreirinha features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property had a private parking so we never had to worry about finding a spot after a long day out. The hosts where amazing and i would definitely recommend this property to my friends!
