Situated in Moalboal, Bernis Hostel features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. We loved the hospitality from Berni’s Hostel! Janice was very helpfull and welcoming. Pool, shower and bed were great. Moalboal in general was also a great town on our trip! You could walk to the city if you would like that but you can easily rent a bike with the staff.

The food is exceptional, on a three night stay my wife and I were served freshly prepared evening meals not only based on local cuisine but also that of Thailand, China, Italy and even Sweden ! Breakfasts were also of a high standard again providing a wide range of options. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with quality bathroom fittings and a good shower. The private beach is kept pristine by daily beach combing, although it has to be said that early in the year the adjacent coastline suffers from seaweed and plastic debris brought in by the prevailing currents. At low tide the extensive tidal lagoons and sand bars provide for a great recreation, just strolling in crystal clear warm waters through meadows of sea grass, looking for exotic sea shells or watching the antics of the tiny blue sand crabs. If you are looking for a small quiet “out of town” retreat on Bantayan, with friendly staff look no further than the Maykenn Beach Resort. PS for a whistle stop tour of other delights on Bantayan the road tour is not to be missed.

Boasting a balcony with garden views, a private beach area and a garden, Sambag Hideaway Bungalows can be found in Moalboal, close to Panagsama Beach and 25 km from Kawasan Falls. Sambag Hideaway is an amazing escape a short ride from the hustle & bustle of Panagsama Beach. The “Bungalow with Sea View” was incredibly spacious with a separate private fully equipped kitchen. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. (I think there should be more pictures of the bungalows provided here as I don’t feel they capture the true beauty!!) The staff at Sambag Hideaways are all absolutely incredible. From start to finish…they could not have helped any more, from arranging our transfers to/from Cebu-Mactan, to arranging our tours, scooter and providing local knowledge and insight into Moaboal and the Philippines. Breakfast is great and the bar/terrace has excellent views looking out over the private beach and into the sea.

200 metres from Basdiot Beach, Ananas Guesthouse is a recently renovated property located in Moalboal and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. everything about this place is amazing. firstly, all the people working here are extremely friendly and helpful. we got a private room, and it was exceptionally clean, big bed and overall super comfy and nice.

Astillo's Guest Houses in Moalboal provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. This guest house offers free private parking and a housekeeping service. Everything was super clean, Mr. Theo was very helpful and gave a lot of useful advice. Rooms were equipped with everything needed, including shampoo and hair dryer. Strongly recommended! :)

Pearl of Santa Fe is set in Santa Fe. This apartment features a garden. The apartment consists of 3 separate bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a living room. The place is a paradise. The staffs and the contact person will make you feel so important. No wonder they are sold out.
