We loved the activities like movie night or mangrove tour, parties or pizza night. The location is perfect with the river and the sea very close by. The room and facilities were cleaned every day and the chill space was really chill 😃 Every day there is food at fixed time frames and it makes people come together and it’s easy to make connections. The staff and volunteers are super nice and it was a pleasure to hang out with everyone. It makes sense that people stay here for more than a few days.

Boasting a bar and views of quiet street, Casa Flor Hostel & Drinks is a recently renovated guest house situated in Ríohacha, 300 metres from Playa de Riohacha. The staff are all very nice and friendly especially Meyleidi, rooms are comfortable with good location and luggage storage for people going to La guajira tour.

Located in Ríohacha, 100 metres from Playa de Riohacha, Bona Vida Apartments provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. We stayed in the apartment and were surprised how nice it is. Beds were very comfy and the location was perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. We loved the breakfast in the nearby hotel

Featuring garden views, Esquina Lejana EcoLodge is situated in Palomino, around 2.8 km from Palomino Beach. Jackson is amazing, he took me to the city with his moto and did everything to make me feel at home. I loved my beautiful room, and the bed was super comfortable. I slept super well as it is very relaxing and calm. The Internet connection is good so you can work from there.

Best hostel I've stayed at in Colombia. Lovely host couple, kind, welcoming, hard working and helpful. Spacious and comfortable rooms and areas. Good breakfast, English spoken, just far enough away from the noisier establishments to be relaxing and peaceful. Good WiFi too and a great, well maintained pool. I moved to another hostel on the advice of a "friend" and regretted it. Although the 2nd one was cheaper (and was fine) I missed Hostal Luz De Luna. 1st choice should I pass through Palomino again.

Boasting garden views, Hostal Nibuni Palomino features accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, around less than 1 km from Palomino Beach. Relaxing vibe close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away from the business of the beach and town! Good value for money with a nice pool and breakfast. Owner was very kind and accommodating; he made us tea when we were unwell and organised the delivery of an item I had left in the room from Palomino to Santa Marta. Highly recommend!

With garden views, Mar Azul - Playa y Turismo is located in Camarones and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and picnic area. The quiet of the place . the cabanas. Lila and her husband who are running the place were amazing .

Set in Palomino, 1 km from Palomino Beach, Casa Juntos offers accommodation with free WiFi, a balcony and access to a garden and a year-round outdoor pool. The room is great but need a bigger Fan because that one is too small and weak for the heat
