Great clean, comfortable apartments across from the Tembo hotel; we liked being independent but with the use of the hotel facilities. Super location with friendly, helpful staff. Arranged a walking tour of Stonetown (the guide was called Chief - he was brilliant!) and a spice farm visit via reception - they were both excellent; really good value and both with a private guide.

Located in Stone Town, Kiponda B&B features a rooftop breakfast bar offering views of the city. The Zanzibar Ferry Terminal is 350 metres away and the beach is a 5-minute walk from the property.

We got a room downstairs and everything was correct, wifi and AC worked good. The room was quiet, spacious and clean. The staff was super friendly. The only thing is that the breakfast too long time to be served. It is inconvenient if you are in a hurry. Therefore, make sure to tell them in advance at what time you want it. Other than that, location is perfect and even they had laundry service at a very good price.
