I especially loved the warm, discreet service. and that most of the staff have been in Mr Bawa's service for many years prior to his passing. This was the best hotel we have ever been to. Firstly, when we booked the hotel, we certainly didn't expect THAT much! Everything was not just perfect, everything was delightful. The place itself, the staff, the atmosphere, the design, the facilities, the comfort - 100 out of 10. There is simply no point in listing all the pros, everyone has to live the experience. We didn't like Sri Lanka but we are ready to come back just for Ishq!
