the hotel is very nice, very close to the sea and you can enjoy the sunset in the sea from the room's window or the beach. Sea is very beautiful and the water is very clean. The dinner and breakfast both delicious and the services are also very good. the only question is hotel is very far from the city and mishima train station, and you need to take almost 2h bus-trip to the hotel and which is only 2 buses per day.

Excellent location, easy to get to from the station. It’s a beautiful ryokan. Onsen with views of the ocean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quiet even though my room was facing the main road. Both breakfast and dinner was excellent. They had a great selection of nihonshu. The staff were well versed in their knowledge of nihonshu and recommended a few to try with my dinner.

A wonderful ryokan in Atami. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast served in the room. Great Onsen. Amazing Japanese style room. Near the train station. The Atami castle, beach and all to see in Atami is nearby by foot. Welcoming staff and dedicated personnel. We loved it.

Built in 1806, Furuya is the oldest ryokan in the Atami hot-springs area.

Not cheap, but amazing place for people who want to experience traditional Japanese riyokan. The room is marvellous and the staff is very polite. Our guide was Mrs. Mika who was extremely helpful and polite. The localization is perfect - you can walk 5 minutes to Atami Beach, where you can sunbath. The breakfasts and dinners at Riyokan are really delicious. And one thing more - the gate of the Riyokan was used in Akira Kurosawa' s film Kagemusha. Greetings from Poland!

- lovely host!! responds promptly to your questions and try their best to accommodate for requests, we really appreciate it. love the seamless hassle free check in with a door code. - great location. a 7-11 not far down the road and a bit further down is the numazu port with all the happenings. leave your rental car parked at home. - the Kotatsu was a great touch for winter. all the aircon heating worked well. - bathroom was clean and convenient with automatic bathtub. it was the first time we saw the fancy bubble feature. - literally everything was provided, you even have a selection of shampoos and conditioners to choose from. - laundry detergent and fabric softener were both provided. absolutely loved having both washing machine and dryer. - smart TV with YouTube, Netflix etc buttons. we stayed as a group of 3 and it was very comfortable. Numazu was a lovely small town and we definitely look forward to come back.
