We didn't know what to expect when we were on our way to the hotel, since it's located on elephantine Island, with no roads, just sand. But the Mango guest house was so lovely, cozy, super clean and amazing staff. They definitely exceeded our expectations!

Everything and everyone. We are so glad to stay in this little island away from the busy streets and hustlers. It's so quiet and everyone in the island is so welcoming, greetings received from everyone. There's a ferry to get to east side and the pier is only 4 min away from the guest house. The ferry fair is 10EGP per person. Only takes 2-3 mins to cross the river. Ferry runs 24 hours so very easy to go around. Abu came with his motorboat to pick us up when we arrived and we were send off as well when we left. Village walking tour and the felucca trip with Mustafa (Abu's cousin) was the best time we had in Egypt. He's so friendly and very knowledgeable. We had an amazing time with them. The home cook dinner prepared by Abu's family were delicious. Abu can organise all kind of trips for you and you can book their motorboat to go to a different island with very reasonable price. Thanks for the warm and greatest hospitality from Abu and his family. We had an amazing stay and we will miss this lovely little island.

Amazing stay! The guest house is located perfectly with nice restaurants and a small supermarket very close by. The rooms were really clean, and the staff were exceptional, especially Mohammad, who welcomed us to the hotel and made sure our time there was pleasant. He also helped us book tours around Aswan. Which made our short time spent there worth while. Would definitely recommend booking the tours if you only have 1 or 2 days to explore. You also get to enjoy the amazing views of the Nile from the Terrace for the sunrise or sunset. Highly recommended to stay at La Terrace. 10/10

Everything was good. Location is perfect. Near to everything. Easy to move nearby and everywhere. WiFi works fine. Room was big. Bed is confortable, also they have extra blankets. Air conditioned works very well. Room has fridge and other very useful facilites. Rooftop of the place has a very nice View, you can enjoy watching Nilo river, boats, Cruisers, falucas. Also nice landscape. They offer laundry service too, which is very useful for travellers.... Doha is a very kind young woman Who Will be aware to help you and give you advices. Family and friendly environment. Very safe and relax place, you can leave your stuffs with no problem at all..... Highly recommended. I would come back.

Kana Kato is located on Elephantine Island which madenour experience so special. We were picked up by the property's boat at the meeting point and sailed dieectly at the property's deck. Gasser and Ahmad were very helpful, they responded to our requests immediately. The view from our room was spectacular, the breakfast was great. We will come back to Kana Kato if we visit Aswan again.

Such an excellent stay! Very comfortable rooms with their own bathrooms which were clean and had lots of hot water which seems to be quite rare in Egypt! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly here, I really felt at home. We went on a boat tour with their nephew which was organised so quickly and really good value. It's a sister hotel of Baba Dool where we ate one night which was nice too. You feel like home here so really recommend staying.
