Beach rentals in Nuquí

Warning, this place puts the price up short before arriving. They dont accept the confirmed price on bookingcom The boat ride from Arusi is 200.000 COP ON TOP for coming and going. The place looks like a building place, without amy light in the area. The guiding is done by anyoung boy, bcause the official guide like to watch TV instead doing his job. The matress is very hard, compable a wooden board. The room is small, without a shower which is shared outside one, with every body who lives there! The food is okay, but a small portion for a quite high pricing! Behind the room is a loud generator running the whole dayl for entertaining the family. But you just habe light in the room until 22 pm. The beach is quite dirty, full of plastic, which is just kept in the bush behind.

The majority of the staff were so lovely and I got on with them so well. Apart from one guy who was a right grumpy aul git and only said “243,000cop” which was how much I owed for the stay. This was after explaining that I would get cash as soon as possible from the western union. (There is no ATM in the town).

Davidson and his wife are very nice persons and welcoming hosts. Always ready to accommodate and help us organise our stay and activities.

It was a wonderful stay. Excellent location, very helpful staff, lovely views and close to a small town. Simeon was very helpful from start to finish and gave us useful information, told us when local events were happening and helped us organise transport. The place was clean and well organised, with everything you need, and the water filter meant we had no problems refilling our bottles.

Beautiful beach haven! Full kitchen provided with everything you could need. Knives are sharp too, easy cutting veggies and fruit. Bedroom is so cool, comfy bed, mozzie net had no holes, sheets fresh and white. Space to put your bags and shelves for clothes. Lovely lighting. Bathroom is epic! Outside shower, strong pressure. Location is right on beach but palm trees give privacy. Another lodge next door but privacy is fine. Close to small shops for groceries. They had veg, fruit, biscuits, crisps, some canned bits. Paddle boards for use, best in the early morning for sunrise when tide is in and waves are chill. Gladis was so helpful getting us booked in and sorted our boat. Her brother Marcello greeted us from the boat and was super helpful throughout the stay. Very attentive and English is good. Termales is super small, literally a 100m mud track road with a handful of tiendas selling basic groceries. There’s one restaurant opened all day and a few others open on request. Arusi had less going on but recommend Poleo for lunch, Francis was lovely and sorted a birthday vegetarian lunch for me and my husband.
