In summer and fall, we venture into the alpine tundra above 12,000 feet, traveling the historic Old Fall River Road (accessible after July 4) and the scenic heights of Trail Ridge Road (weather permitting). There will be multiple stops along the way up to the Alpine Visitor Center and stops along the way back down. If conditions prevent access to certain areas, don’t worry—we’ll explore equally stunning parts of the park to ensure an incredible experience. We'll concentrate on the myriad wildlife, the diverse biology, and incredible geology of the Rockies. We'll also get insight into what it might have been like for early pioneers and lodge keepers as well as indigenous people like the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute. My tours are completely flexible so if you want to hike for 3 or 4 miles, great! Or if you just want sit back and relax and enjoy the view that's fine too!
