During this experience, you'll get to take a catamaran cruise off the coast of Madeira. You'll board the boat alongside an experienced crew and set sail for Cabo Girao, one of the highest sea cliffs in the world.

We begin the journey heading to the centre of the island to the famous Nuns Valley, from this fascinated place we start our journey through our unique steep roads up to Pico do Arieiro, the third-highest mountain in Madeira. 1818m.
Here, we are normally above the clouds for a magnificent and unique experience and after exploring the area, we are ready to start the journey towards the northeast of the island.
Descending to the small village of Ribeiro Frio where we will have the opportunity to go for a small walk, and explore the Laurissilva forest and the picturesque mountains.
From this lovely village, we continuous our journey towards Santana, passing trough fascinating old roads and off road adventure in the middle of the forest with stunning views of the northeast coast.
Next stop is Santana, one of the most visited places in Madeira where you can see and enter the iconic traditional triangular Madeira houses and stop for lunch in a very special place. (optional extra - not included in the price).
After a delicious lunch, where you can experience the flavours of the local cuisine, we will head to Faial. Stopping at a sky-glass viewpoint Mirador do Guindaste and Porto da Cruz village for a visit to the rum factory where we can enjoy some local produce rums or our famous poncha.

Returning to Funchal, stop to take photos from the Encumeada viewpoint, then drive through the UNESCO-listed landscapes of the Laurissilva forest.
