On this trip, you'll glide through the majestic Trollfjord of the Lofoten on a silent boat. You'll cruise toward the fjord, taking in the awe-inspiring scenery from the multi-level decks or warm lounges. Your local guide will share interesting facts about the region's wildlife, history and fishing culture along the way. Inside the fjord, you'll have views of the steep mountains and eagles flying overhead. Your guide will launch a special drone for you to view what's going on under the water.
We can guarantee you the experience of a lifetime!
Join our fantastic RIB trip to the magical Trollfjord, where you will have the chance to see many sea eagles up close.
Of course, the trip has more to offer than just eagles. You will be surrounded by the unique Lofoten's nature with thousand meters high mountains plunging directly into the sea , idyllic bays with crystal clear water and chalk white sandy beaches, just to name a few.
The RIB boats are another aspect that helps make this trip unique and you will share the experience only with a small group of passengers. You get much closer to both eagles and nature, and the feeling of freedom that a smaller boat will give you is totally different.
Along the way, we will stop several times and tell you fun and interesting facts about the nature and history of these unique places.
Don't forget to bring your camera or phone! Other things you don't want to take with you on the trip can be handed in to our office.
What sets our tour apart?
We don’t do big buses, generic stops, or rushed itineraries. This tour is all about small groups (max 7 people), local insight, and a relaxed vibe where there’s actually time to enjoy the view — not just snap a photo and move on.
We’ll take you from Svolvær to the best of western Lofoten — Reine, Hamnøy, and Sakrisøy — plus a few of our favorite photo stops and viewpoints along the way. The itinerary is flexible and adjusted to weather and group energy (because no one wants to walk on a beach in sideways rain).
We don’t recite Wikipedia facts or call every beach the “Copacabana of Lofoten.” Instead, we share what it’s really like to live year-round on these remote Arctic islands.
You’ll travel in a modern, comfy electric minivan with a local guide, enjoy hot drinks, something sweet (yes, Kvikklunsj!), and good company.
This isn’t just a sightseeing tour — it’s a road trip with locals who actually live here. Come join us!
We are visiting the fantastic Trollfjord:
The Trollfjord is one of the most visited nature attractions in Lofoten. The fjord is a sidearm the Raftsund east in Lofoten. The fjord is 2 km long, and only 100 meters wide at the most narrow. The steep mountains surrounding the fjord are between 600 and 1100 metres high. The fjord has also played an important part in our fisheries. The battle of the Trollfjord in 1890 is immortalized through Johan Bojer`s novel, «The Last Viking», and one of painter Gunnar Berg`s (1863-1893) main works. The painting of The battle of the Trollfjord can be viewed in Svinøya Rorbuer`s Gunnar Berg Gallery.

The combination of silence, raw nature on all sides, and full freedom of motion, makes sea kayaking one of our most popular adventures. You cannot get closer to nature than this.

A photographer will show you how to capture the lights on camera or phone, use a tripod, and frame your shots. Dress warmly in layers, and bring shoes, thermals, and gloves.
