This two-hour sightseeing cruise of the Oslofjord will give you the opportunity to see Oslo from a different perspective. A variety of snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase on board as well. The tour will sail past Hovedøya, the Dyna Lighthouse and the famous Oslo Opera House. The vessel will also circle the peninsula of Bygdøy, which is home to many museums and popular beaches. During the cruise, you'll be able to listen to an English audio guide or an English-speaking guide.

On this cruise, you'll get to enjoy the scenery around Oslo as you sail in a traditional wooden boat along the Norwegian fjord. You'll get to explore bays, inlets and islands including Hovedøya Island, as well as the peninsula of Bygdøy where you will find the city's beach and some of the museums. You may even see the polar ship 'Fram' and other veteran sailing ships moored outside. While cruising along the fjord, you'll also get to tuck into a buffet of shrimps served with bread, butter and lemon, and you can order a drink at your own expense at the bar.

We depart Aker Brygge and set course to experience Oslo from a different vantage point. The Oslo fjord. We will slowly glide past the Aker fortress, the Opera, Hovedøya and the famous lighthouse on a rock; Dyna Fyr. During the tour our tours guide will share interesting and important stories of the nature and wildlife that lives in and around the city of Oslo. In our onboard cafe, you can purchase soft drinks and freshly baked goods. Both inside and outside it is comfortable and safe for young and old. Our panoramic windows go down all the way to the floor so that even the smallest in our midst can see the scenery and nature outside.

Being the most famous wooden polar vessel in the world, Fram is a symbol of Norway's significant participation in the heroic age of exploration. The centerpiece of the museum is the world´s strongest wooden ship, the polar ship Fram. The public can go on board and take a look around in her cabins, lounges, cargo hold and engine room. Please note that from Apr-Aug this tour is 4-4.5 hours long and we visit 3 islands. From Sep-Mar, this tour is 3-3.5 hours and we visit 2 or 3 islands depending on the weather and the boat schedule. Discover the majestic islands of the Oslofjord, hopping on and off ferries to hike the forests, cliffs, charming villages and historic sites of 2-3 islands (season dependant). With a local guide, explore the ruins of a 900 year old abbey, picnic on a cosy beach (Oct-Mar, a small stop with hot drinks will be provided) and stroll through a village of colourful wooden cabins and flower-lined paths. The stunning views of Oslo and its hills provide a scenic backdrop, with photo spots at every turn. Don't forget a swim suit in the Summer months to bathe in the surprisingly warm waters of the Oslo fjord! Time for a picnic is included and participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch. Good walking shoes or trail shoes are recommended as the hiking is done on dirt paths, gravel and stones.

With this ticket, you'll get access to the Viking Planet digital museum in Oslo. On this voyage, you’ll explore the incredible scenery of the Oslofjord by boat. Your route will take you past highlights of the capital like the Oslo Opera House, Akershus Fortress, Hovedøya island and Dyna Lighthouse. Further out, you’ll find yourself among nature and the green islands of the fjord. If conditions are optimal, the underwater drone will be launched so you can get a look at what lies beneath the water. A guide will share stories and facts about the region’s wildlife and nature.

Note! On our tours, guests' safety always comes first. On this tour we move through the forest with live fire. If the guide assesses the situation or the weather in such a way that it challenges the guests' safety, we will not use torches. We still wander through the forest, and end up lighting a campfire. ‍ Hop on the metro and travel through quaint neighborhoods to Frognerseteren Station, which sits at about 500m above the fjord. After a few moments to soak in the views it's time to start our adventure! We will take a short walk over to the frozen Øvresetertjern Lake, where you will enjoy a cozy campfire, Norwegian style. We will have hygge - hot drinks, good conversation, roast marshmallows. Here, each guest will be given a flame torch. After a safety briefing, we’ll set off into the winter wilderness. The walk will last about 45 min and will end by the metro which takes us back to civilization.
