During the months of January through March, grey whales visit the lagoons in Baja California and Baja California Sur, where they breed, give birth and nurse their young in its warm and safe waters. These gentle giants are known for their preference of being close to shore, which makes them an amazing option for enthusiastic wildlife observers. This is one of those unique places in the world where you can scratch, hug, and even kiss the gray whales.
Meeting these whales in the company of a marine biologist will give you a very special experience, where you'll not only be amazed by their size, you'll also understand their behaviour, life cycle, habits, and much more.
