This itinerary will take you from Tokyo to explore the popular spots around Hakone and Mount Fuji, such as Lake Ashi, Hakone Shrine, the water torii gate, and Owakudani. You can take the Hakone Pirate Ship to cruise the lake at your own expense, take the ropeway to the volcanic wonder Owakudani, and taste geothermal black eggs. In the afternoon, go to Lake Yamanaka to feed the swans up close, and finally explore Oshino Hakkai to experience the clear spring water and Japanese rural scenery.
