My name is Francesco Borsari, and cooking has always been my language, connecting me to the land and cherished memories. I invite you to a special experience in an ancient olive mill by Lake Trasimeno, in the heart of Umbria. We’ll roll out fresh pasta, create savory sauces, and craft timeless recipes passed down through generations.
You’ll taste the finest olive oils from the mill and enjoy a guided tour, learning about the pressing process and history. At the end, we’ll share the meal we’ve created, savoring each bite and celebrating good food, laughter, and being together. You will be welcome in an early 19th century farmhouse in Pieve Pagliaccia, between Perugia and Assisi, where our company, the Brugnoni simple agricultural company, is based, where our family has lived and worked with passion and love for the territory for almost 100 years. We carry on various cultures typical of the area, including the vine. We will guide you through our vineyards and then through the rooms of our cellar, telling you our story and illustrating all the phases of wine production, from the vineyard to the bottle. We will then let you taste 4 of our wines, accompanied by typical platters selected by companies we collaborate with.
Escape into the heart of Umbria on a small-group wine tour through Montefalco and Bevagna, where rolling hills, medieval villages, and endless vineyards set the stage for a day of indulgence. Known as the “land of Sagrantino,” this region is Italy at its most authentic—slow rhythms, passionate winemakers, and flavors that stay with you long after the last sip.
You’ll visit two family-run wineries, walking among the vines and cellars as the owners share their stories and pour their signature wines, from bold Sagrantino DOCG to elegant Montefalco Rosso. Between tastings, sit down for a scenic winery lunch of seasonal Umbrian dishes—farm-to-table recipes paired with organic wine, served with views across the valley.
With small groups (max 8 travelers) and pickup available on request, this experience combines the comfort of a guided tour with the intimacy of a day spent as a guest, not a tourist. It’s more than a tasting—it’s a journey into Umbria’s soul.
